We walked silently back to my dorm apartment when I heard Michael say something but as I turn to look over at him, his lips don't seem to be moving.
Want some coffee?
I look over at him confused and he speaks again.
What? You thought my limits to speaking were computers?
Understanding now that he was in my head, my eyes widen slightly and I smile nervously.
"You're incredible and also terrifying."
I know babe.
We wait in line until it was our turn, me walking up taking out my wallet.
The cashier smiles at me."Can I have two small coffees?"
He nods, eyes furrowing for a split second.
He comes back and sets the two cups down ringing me up, "Two coffees huh?"
"Yeah one is for my friend," I say slightly confused at his question.
He nods and hands me back my change as I take the two cups returning to Michael.
"That was so weird, did you hear what he said?"
He shakes his head taking his cup as we continue our walk back to my dorm.
