Suspended over darkness
Clear and flat
And glistening
Arms encircled
Around his neck
Around her thighs
Flirting with gravity
A squeal on her lips
Graceful and gawky and young
Love in its rawest form
Falling
With no net
With no regret
No turning back
No rewind
Only faith
Blind faith
That the water will catch them
And let them rise again

Wonderland
PoetryShe wanders, lost in wonder. She falls in and falls out. Loses days and nights and friends. Bottles. Ashes. Echoes of laughter left in her wake. She is no one, without even a capital letter to her name. She is alice.
