Shikadai's POV
That Yuki girl, seemed really nice. She was very cool and collected around me. But I couldn't help but get the feeling that she was after something."Shika-kun." I raised my head without saying a word. "Would you like to exchange numbers?" I nodded my head. "Sure." A bright smile came upon her face. As we were exchanging our phone numbers, she began to blush. "I guess, I'll see you later then." "Yeah, see ya."
I got up as well and started heading towards Himawari's place. Until, I heard a quiet gasp. Yuki almost fell down, but I managed to catch her. Her face was as red as a tomato. "I'm so sorry!" I raised her up. "It's fine. I'll walk you home."
"No, it's alright. You don't have to do that." I sighed. "Alright then. Call me when you get home safely." She smiled and nodded her head.
Now that this was over with, I could finally do what I intended to do.
Himawari's POV
I was walking through Konoha hoping that I would see Bolt around here somewhere, alone. But, I didn't see him at all. I sighed as I looked around.Out of nowhere, I felt a tap on my shoulder. I turned around only to find..."Shikadai?" He sighed. "I've been looking for you." Looking for me? That's weird. "Why? Did something happen?"
"No. My mom just suggested that I pay you a visit." My excitement faded away. "Oh, I see." "And," There's more? I wonder what it is. "I wanted to ask you something." I felt as curious as ever when he said that.
"What is it?" He looked away from me. "Look, I-" His phone was ringing.
"Yeah?"
"Shika-kun, it's me, Yuki."
"Oh hey. Did you make it home alright?"
"Yes. Thank you."
"No problem. Just being a gentleman."I heard little giggles come from his phone. He's being so nice to her. He must be her boyfriend or something.
"I'm sorry for calling this late. Did I interrupt you?"
"No, not at all. I'm just out with a friend."
"Oh. I don't want to hold you back."
"You're fine. We're not really doing anything anyways."Not doing anything huh? He was just about to ask me something until she called.
"Would you like to come over tonight for dinner? Your friend can come too."
"Sure. It's not like I have anything better to do."
"Okay! But, you don't know where I live yet. I'll give you my address."
"Just meet me at Ichiraku's."
"Alright. 8 PM, ok?"
"Got it."He hung up his phone. "So." He looked at me as if I was stupid. "So?" I pursed my lips. "Who was that?" He sighed. "None of your business. Go home." I furrowed my eyebrows. "Hey, what about your question?" "What question?" This guy!
"Don't tell me you forgot already! You knucklehead." He flicked my forehead and started walking. "Where are you going?" "Home." He waved his hand with his back turned away from me. "I'll come with you." He stopped for a brief second. "No need. I have something else to do."
I didn't say anything back to him. But, I can't just let him walk off like that. Maybe it's time I do a little investigation. I made sure to keep my distance, and I followed him.
Shikdai's POV
I can't believe it. She's really following me. I would just tell her to go away, but I'd like to see where this goes. As I approached my doorstep I pretended not to know she was there. "Man. I'm so glad I got away from that crazy chick. Now I can get ready for my date."
