As I got out of the steamy shower, I look at my hand and discover that the believe on my hand washed away. I quickly rush to my room to get a sharpie and write it back on. Writing believe on my hand is one of the things that persuades me to keep hoping I will meet him. I only have mentioned it to my parents because people would think that I have a messed up mind if they discovered. I always notice my friends glancing down at my hand and if they ever question it, I always find a way to change the topic.
Once I get in my pajamas, I go out to eat in my kitchen. I wasn't surprised when there was chicken and green beans on the plate.
"What do you know! Chicken again!" My brother, Ethan burst out.
"Tomorrow will be Fetticcini Alfredo!" My mom exclaimed.
My mom always knows what's right up my alley. After I finished eating I looked at the clock and decided I would crash at 9:00 pm. Going to sleep is my favorite part of the day since I don't just fall asleep. I get to think about Jacob. It gives me positive thoughts before I go to sleep. I arrive at my bathroom to brush my teeth. I grab my phone to entertain me while I am brushing my teeth, and the only thing that pops up are Jacob Sartorius edits. So surprising. As I get through all the edits my electric brush stops buzzing and I go to my sink to clean my mouth out.
"Are you going to bed Isabelle?" My mom asks.
"Ya. Goodnight mom and dad. I love you," I shout from my room.
"Rainbows and unicorns and Jacob," my dad always says before I fall asleep. It's what he tells me to dream about.
I shut my door happily to get away from the chaos and crawl in my bed and think, what should situation should Jacob be in tonight? I think about us being best friends or possibly being his girlfriend but already know I'm out of his league. Just thinking about that makes me happy, but when I snap back to reality I want to cry.
I start drifting to sleep as I think about Jacob standing in front of me and I throw myself into his arm and he spins me in circles. It doesn't end until I'm completely asleep, and then more good vibes go through me.
