"WHAT" I cried as soon as I heard what mother have just told me
"what,sweetie you're going on a date with your fiance tomorrow afternoon,what's in that" Mom asked shrugging in confusion, I was about to scream my lungs out but then it hit me "We have to pretend"
"Nothing mother I just was taken by your words nothing more" I fixed the situation trying not to faint "I'll go up to my room,I need to talk to Laura" I said as I made my way up to my room thinking what have I just was informed by? date? with my enemy? we'll fight in public? please god make it more probable and let it pass safely
As soon as I entered the room I realized that I haven't checked my phone since the day we were in the amusement park,I decided it's time to check it and face the MONSTER LAURA that would kill anybody who's not answering her calls. I unlocked it and gasped immediately at the sight I was facing,OH EM GEE 31 missed calls and 12 text messages all from Laura! I will write my will already.. I dialed her number and was ready to face my fate
"HOW DARE YOUU ELENA AARON" Laura roared so loudly as soon as she answered that I had to make a gap between my ear and the phone or I'll suffer from deafness soon
"Listen,I know you are so angry and want to rip my head off right now but please let me explain, the past days carried so many events and news that I wasn't able to focus on anything else" I tried so hard to calm her down knowing deeply she wouldn't be affected by my words or anything
"YOU HAVEN'T TALKED TO ME IN LIKE A MONTH" Laura roared one more time making me raise one of my eyebrows
"You're exaggerating a litt-" I tried to say but was cut off by her roaring
"CLOSE THAT MOUTH!" Laura barked so much louder that I felt she was going to jump out of the phone just to hit me
"AND HOW ON EARTH THOSE EVENTS AND NEWS YOU'RE TALKING ABOUT HAPPEN WITHOUT ME KNOWING! ARE YOU TRYING TO PUSH ME AWAY FROM YOUR LIFE OR SOMETHING?" she accused me which made my eyes grew wide,how could she think that way! I'll
never do that,she's a life
"Laura you need to come over in minutes we can't discuss this on phone,I'm waiting for you,bye" I ended the call knowing exactly that what I did is the best thing that would be done in situations like those
*Few minutes later*
I was laying on bed scrolling down twitter on my phone when suddenly I felt a loud noise sounding like footsteps that was about to break the wooden stairs, oh Laura is here
I got up and opened the door of the room, I don't wanna the door to crash or something when she reach for it ,it's my room! as soon as I opened the door I quickly made my way back to the bed
Laura reached the target spot and was just standing at the door frame narrowing her eyes at me
"Okay you need to calm down,you know that my mother doesn't like loud voices,right" I questioned getting off bed stepping back away from her as far as I could till I hit the wall,she was just scanning the room searching for something she could hit me with till her eyes fill on my book shelf which only contained one book,erm I like reading but I lend my friends way to many books to read except for one book which means the world to me
"No Laura don't throw me with that book,please" I begged her 'cause yeah that book means that much to me
"If only I didn't know how much that book means to you,I would have ruined all its pages on that beautiful face of yours" she said moving her eyes from the book shelf to me, That book was a present from my father on my 8th birthday ,it was about the oceans and the life under the water I was kind of obsessed with the oceans life and It was because of my father actually
