Sydney's POV (2 days until winter formal)
Today Scarlet came over, she talked to me, and called Zeke. I just.... I just.... I still can't talk to him. Scarlet got mad at me and left, but KNOWING how much she wants Zeke and I talking again, she told me to call her at any time. I DO want to talk to Zeke, it's just, that i'm not sure what I should talk about. Then I get a text from.... ZEKE!!! Yes!!
Z: Can you meet me at the beach, at 3?
OMG, it was already 2:30, and I was still in my PJs!!!
S: Sure, I might be a little late, maybe about 5 minutes late. Is that OK?
Z: Yeah, that's fine.
OK, I need to get a cute outfit on... I put on my pineapple tank-top, white jeans, orange converse, white beanie, and my pineapple necklace, with my hair braided into a fishtail braid, and put my EOS lip-balm on. When I get there, it's 5 past 3, and Zeke has his hands behind his back, and says " After you malady. " With his classic ear to ear smile. I start to laugh. This is the best I've felt since we stopped talking. I start to walk toward him, he guides me with his hand toward the water. When we get close enough to the water, I see he has set up a little picnic for us. " I hope you didn't have lunch already. " Zeke says nervously. " Nope, I haven't. " I say a little giggly. We start to sit down, and then Zeke pulls his hand from behind him, revealing a bouquet of roses. " Thank - you so much!! How did you know roses were my favorite. " I say surprised. " I know these types of things, and MAYBE I asked Scarlet... just MAYBE. He says, laughing a little. Then we both start laughing. " Well Mr. Know-It-All, when did you, MAYBE ask Scarlet? I was at her house alot, and when I was, she never got any calls, texts or you walking in. " I say giggling, then fire-works go off, and they say, " WILL YOU GO TO THE WINTER FORMAL WITH ME?? " Then Zeke turns to me smiling and asks, " Will you?? " " OF CORSE!!" I can't wait to tell Scarlet!!
