Chapter 11

Jin looked at her.
Her perfect face, without freckles, without flaws.
That perfect figure which she envied.
She was the opposite of her. Jin had freckles which she thought was her biggest flaw.

"Bae" she called out as Wonwoo got up to hug her..

"Hey" she waved at the guys with a soft smile which guys would melt for.

But they smiled back small and turned to Jin. They finally knew why she felt insecure then.
That smile, those eyes, that figure. It was what guys wanted in a lady.

Joshua looked at Jin who was sipping onto her beverage, staring at her phone. He could tell she was uncomfortable.

Without any notice, Jin got up from her seat and walked towards Hyejin.

What is she going to do?
Slap the hell out of her!!

Chan and Junhui looked at each other and smiled but it dropped as soon as Jin reached her hand out for a handshake.

"I'm Jin, you must be Wonwoo's girlfriend" her voice was a bit shaky.

Hyejin looked at her hand and gave a bow instead. "Yes I am"

Jin smiled before dropping her hand down to her side, "nice to finally meet you" she turned to the rest and waved goodbye.

"I'll head to work now. Eunji messaged me a minute ago for meeting"

She lied. She didn't want to be there and see the affections towards each other.

Who would want to see their ex smiling and kissing another girl.

Definitely not Jin.

Joshua and Soonyoung got up at the same time. "I'll be alright" she gestured them to sit.

"Call me when you reach, it's getting dangerous out there" Joshua beat the latter and she nodded.

As soon as the door closed, Wonwoo cleared his throat and smiled at the 12 of them.

"Well this is Hyejin that I have been telling you guys about"

The girl that you cheated Jin with. Mingyu sighed internally.

"I'm Mingyu and I'll head out too. Dad just called me" he bowed and made his exit.

She looked at him, wide eyed and frowned. "Wasn't that too rude?" She turned to Wonwoo and glared at him.

"You all are not leaving soon right?" She looked at her watch and sat down.

After introducing each other, Junhui cleared his throat. "How long have you guys been together?"

"Almost four and a half years, we met online before he came to America" she smiled and hugged his arms.

"Before he went?" Soonyoung glared at Wonwoo.

"That's a long time. May you guys stay together forever and have plenty kids" Seungkwan said sarcastically

Hyejin nodded and chuckled, "Yes we will. I know oppa will not leave me" she kissed his cheeks.

"He will not" Seokmin smiled at her.

She nodded at him, "By the way, is there any love triangle happening in this group with that girl?" she chuckled it off as a joke, making Wonwoo look at his girlfriend. She looked at them staring at her like a joke and she sighed, "I was just joking, chill" she raised her hands to gesture a wall in front of her.

"You guys went long distance for six months, that's amazingly strong" Minghao mocked Wonwoo after a second of silence and smiled.

Wonwoo shook his head, "Isn't it time to be back at work guys. You shouldn't be wasting your time here sitting" he said.

"Of course, we should not be wasting our time here" Vernon said and got up immediately.

"Bye guys" they all left, leaving the two sitting at the table.

Jin walked out of the cafe, she breathed in the fresh air to clear her mind. Taking small steps to the bus stop, she couldn't stop imagining Wonwoo and Hyejin.

Tears filled her eyes but she didn't let them fall. "I didn't know it would be this hard" she mumbled as a tear fell on her cheeks.

She looked up and saw the bus stop sign, she sat on the bench and stared at the ground.

She had no where to go, not wanting to go to the office with tear stained cheeks.

"Kim Jinhee!" A deep voice shouted in the air.

She looked up to see a panting Mingyu and she faked a smile on her face, he didn't smile back.

"Why are you crying" he took big steps and pulled her up from the bench. He cupped her face and stared into her teary eyes. He wiped her tear stain with his thumb before pulling her into a tight hug.

"I'm sorry" she apologized.

Mingyu shook his head, he hugged her tighter; not wanting to let go. "It's alright, I'll be here" he cooed. "I'll never leave you"

"I promise"

Those were the same words Wonwoo said. She grabbed Mingyus jackets and closed her eyes tight.

"I'm sorry" He said softly before pushing her away and pulled her back as he cupped her face. He stared at her with soft gaze. Inches from each other became centimeters.
He closed his eyes before sealing the space between them.
