Mingyu gave her a small wave before heading out for work, Jin turned around to her own house and got in. She locked it behind her and sighed, she walked to the kitchen reheated the food she made yesterday. Grabbing out the plastic of medicine, she popped in a capsule and quickly gulped a sip of water.
"What is this feeling?" She frowned at the loss of taste buds from the fever. She quickly finished the plate of dish and washed up before taking another rest.
She tossed around the bed and looked at the time, "It's still early and so boring at home" she turned on her left and stared at the wall next to her bed.
Can you forgive me
Wonwoo's voice echoed in her head, and she felt her heart strings being pulled. She placed her hand on her chest and felt the fast pace. Quickly shaking the feeling away, she got up and picked her phone from her night stand.
Trying to forget about yesterday, Mingyu appeared and her heartbeat fastened. She groaned at her reaction, "What's wrong with you now. Who do you even like?" Jin buried herself under the blanket for a second before sitting up on the bed with a small pout. She looked at the wall clock and sighed.
"It's still early" she mumbled to herself and suddenly feeling her phone vibrate. There was a new message waiting for her, her eyebrows rose, 'Why is he messaging me?'. She turned her phone upside side on her nightstand and covered her ears.
She stared at it for a second and her shoulders tensed up, "I feel so bad". Grabbing her phone from the nightstand, she unlocked it and dragged the notification down to see the preview of the message.
Hey, how are you feeling?
She sighed and placed it back, feeling a bit tired to reply. Tired was just an excuse. She didn't know how to reply to his message.
A knock could be heard and she got out of the bedroom to peek at the door. Soonyoung was waiting outside with a plastic in his hands. Jin smiled and quickly opened the door, he saw her and quickly waved before entering the house as if it's his.
"I brought you lunch in case you get hungry" he placed it on the dining table and Jin smiled widely at him before pulling him into a tight hug. "Thank you so much for coming. I was so bored" Jin complained till she was satisfied and also told him about Wonwoo's message.
Soonyoung chuckled, "he's probably just worried for you... but how did he know?" his eyes widened for a second before he shook it off along with his question.
"Don't you have work?" Jin asked and he nodded with a frown.
"I'll leave as soon as you're done with lunch and medicine" he said and patted her head.
"The guys are coming over tonight, busy with meetings. I'm the only one that's free" he said as if answering the questions in her head.
Time passed extra fast when Soonyoung was in the house, Jin stared at the clock move it's second hands; feeling like minutes instead. Her mind went back to the message, she reached for her phone but stopped halfway. "Replying later is normal right? He will understand if I am sleeping" Jin asked herself, making herself smile; satisfied at her answers.
Her eyes closed for a second and she drifted into dreamland sooner than she thought, it must have been the medicine. Dreamland didn't last that long as she woke up an hour later after dreaming of Wonwoo waiting for her reply.
Her eyes darted at the device and she quickly unlocked it, staring at the message. The keyboard on the screen popped up and she began typing. Her phone lit up few seconds after her reply and her heartbeat fastened. A smile appeared on her face as she made a quick reply. Another reply popped up on her screen and she took a quick glance at the clock before quickly getting out of bed to the bathroom.
W: Hey, how are you feeling?
J: I'm feeling much better. What's up?
W: Do you have any plans for tonight?
J: Nope. Do you?
W: That's great. Let's have dinner together. Meet at the 'X restaurant' at 6pm. I won't take a no as an answer. See you there :)
