I was walking to class a few meters away from Jaeni, Should I talk to her? She hasn't been herself lately.

Maybe she's sick? I should really check up on her.

I was about make my way up to her when I heard a voice call out for her.

"Jaeni!" Vernon called out.

"Vernon? Yea, what is it?" Jaeni asked as she turned to face his direction

"Can you meet me after school? I've been wanting to tell you something." He said.

Jaeni hesitated for a second before she nodded her head.

"Great then I'll see you later at the main entrance of our school" Vernon said, as he gave her a smile, before hurrying to class.

I wonder what he's going to tell her?

"Great then I'll see you later at the main entrance of our school"

I lifted my head up to say goodbye, but he already ran off.

"I wanted to get bubble tea with Joshua" I whispered to myself.

•after school•

I looked down at my white converse waiting for Vernon to come.

It's been almost 10 minutes and he still isn't here.

"Jaeni, sorry I was late. I got held back by the teacher" Vernon said while grasping for air.

"It's okay" I smiled.

When Vernon finally gained his composure he looked at me with a serious face.

"I like you"

"Sorry what?" I said completely confused by how quick that happened. Just one minute ago he practically dying and now he just said he liked me.

"Are you okay Vernon? Do want to rest I'm sure you were tired from all that running, or are you sick?" I said as I put my hand on his forehead to check his temperature.

"No.." He said.

I put my hand down and knitted my eyebrows together.

"I like you" I froze, my heart was now beating extremely fast.

"U-uhh, I-I," I stopped mid way as I was trying to look for the words to say. Do I actually like him? How? I've only known him for about a week now.

But then again, I don't exactly remember anything.

I snapped out of my thoughts as I saw something waving their arms at me.

It was Seungkwan. From my perspective he was making an okay sign.

What? He made a few more hand gestures and I think he wanted me to accept something, Seugkwan made one more hand gesture as he pointed at Vernon.

He wants me to accept Vernon?

Then it struck me.

I looked at Vernon.

"I-I like you too"

"Really?" Vernon seemed to brighten up.

"Y-yea" I said hesitantly.

"I, have to go now." I excused as I ran off to Seungkwan's direction.

And grabbed his arm.

When we got to a place where Vernon could no longer hear us or see us I let go of his arm.

"Why?" I asked really confused.

"I made a mistake," he began.

I nodded, telling him to continue on.

"I was only supposed to give you a flashback of all your memories, not send you to the past." Seungkwan said.

"You can't change anything in the past. So before I this gets any worse, I'm sorry, but I have to do this." He said.

Huh?

Seungkwan patted my shoulder and snapped his finger.

And not even a second after.

I felt a pounding sensation in my head.

"I like you, but why him?"

"I'm sorry, but you aren't him"

"You're useless that was your only job and you can't even do it properly"

"We made an agreement, you can't just back down"

"No! Don't leave me please, no.."

"Can I ask you a favor?"

"Will you kill me?"

"If I did could you bring back the past, bring back all the time I wasted just because of this stupid thing you call love?"

"How can I get over him when I know that if I do It'll only break me some more, if I realize that he no longer cares and that he won't comeback"

"I'm just going out for a bit."

"Don't tell me to let go, because if you do...I might actually let go"

"I'll see you soon."

All these things flashed before my eyes, too quickly.

I then looked at Seungkwan asking for explanations.

"Do you feel anything?" He asked.

I clenched my chest and felt hot beads stream down my cheeks as I felt the sudden wave of sadness take over me.

"That was only a bit of your memories" he said.

"You can't change the past, but from now on you can move on, we're letting you" he patted my back.

I looked at him,

"Seungkwan.." I said still

"No matter how much you try to remember who was who, you won't remember" he paused.

"From now on it's your decision, if you hear a voice in your head telling you what to do. It's your decision whether or not you want to follow it"

He wiped my tears away.

"Choose carefully, Do you really want to change your past? Or would you like to remember your past?"

I felt clenched my fist and closed my eyes.

"Remember...Because from the moment I woke up from that coma,"

I paused as I smiled bitterly

"That's all I ever wanted."
