Chapter Two: Surprise Kiss

Nico's POV

There are three things I noticed when I came to. The first being that I was wrapped up in a bunch of blankets and was in a cave. The second was that I was naked. The third thing was that there was someone watching me. I unwrapped some of the blankets from myself and let them pool around my torso.

"Show yourself!" I called out into the dimly lit cave.

Slowly a figure walked out of the shadows and into view.(A/N this is the parts my co-writer wrote)His appearance didn't seem to belong in the dark cave, more like a sunny beach. His blonde was cut jaggedly and fell into his eyes .I found myself staring into  his eyes, it was like they were calling out to me and I couldn't force myself to look away.

A smile shown across his face and didn't seem forced like everyone else's that seemed to belong in his group. Suddenly I found my self pressed against the cold cave wall. there was only a split second where I could see his eyes staring into mine before I could feel the sensation of his lips against mine.

Will's POV

My eyes traveled his body as they slowly met his eyes, he as staring right at me. His eyes were such a dark brown that they almost looked black.  I smiled a shy smile that I could barely believe was my own as I tried to look at any thing but his naked body and my eyes settled on his wrist. Thee were red lines on his wrist that I hadn't noticed before when I was taking off his wet clothes. Maybe it was because there ere so many other wounds.

I didn't realize how quickly I had closed the distance between us until I had pushed him against the cave wall with his hands pined to his side.it was in that split second between his eyes widening in shock and our lips touching that I realized he was my mate. I then felt my instincts take over and soon I was kissing him. Compared to all the girls I had kissed that were supposedly perfect for me , kissing him felt like kissing an angel.

My hands roamed his back and pulled him closer as his hands knotted through my hair. We fit together perfectly like we had done this before.

Then almost as quickly as the kiss had started it was over. His hands slipped up between our bodies and pushed me away. I pulled away and turned back in the shadows. I couldn't bear to look at him since he obviously didn't want me kissing him any time soon.my heart constricted painfully in my chest I guess this is what it feels like to be rejected by your mate.

I walked out the cave and into the main part of the base and kept walking until I ran into Travis.

"Give the new kid some pants to put on and bring him to the main hall to meet the others." I told Travis as I continued walking down the hall.

I stood out side of her door my hand raised . It fell with a hard thud. A few seconds later the door opened to reveal Thalia Grace. I knew what I was about to do was wrong bu I needed to feel comforted since he rejected me.

"Hey Will" she said as she let me into her room locking the door.
