Will paced restlessly around the room. It had been several hours since they had contacted the witch and they had no leads on how to find Nico. The sun had begun to set and it cast an orange glow over the realm of the fae. Annabeth had joined them in the library and she was looking through all the maps in the royal library that might lead to where the witch's location was and so far had come up empty.
"This is hopeless we'll never find Nico at the rate. Don't you have anything else that we could use to find him?" Will said while glaring angrily at Percy.
"No I am afraid not. I think that the best thing would be to search through the realm ourselves." Percy said. He was starting to become worried with how agitated Will was starting to become and took caution not to make Will snap.
Annabeth spoke up,"The best places to look first would be all the areas with high concentrations of magical energy. All witches have never been able to completely hide themselves away because they always leave behind traces of magic where they last cast a spell. So our best bet would be to search these areas."
She held out a map that had various areas circled.
"Lucky for us, all of these places are close together so it shouldn't take long until we find him." Annabeth said. All of the boys looked at her in awe.
"Wow I am glad I am dating you!" Percy said looking at Annabeth as if she was an angle who just defended from heaven. She rolled her eyes at him and thrust the map into Wills awaiting hands who in turn gave her grateful smile and rushed towards the exit of the library.
" Does he even know how to get out of this castle?" Leo said looking at Will's retreating figure .
"No but he will be back." Percy said just as Will came to a halt and came running back towards them.
"Come on guys we better get going. Trust me you don't want to be out when it get dark." Percy said with a slight frown on his lips as he watched the slowly descending sun.
