Chapter 10: Prince percy and Rachel the good witch

We raced to where Nico  disappeared and stood in front of the entrance to the Fae realm.
I could feel the power of the barrier and I was almost about to give up hope when Annabeth put on the medallion and stuck her hand through the barrier as if to test it.
I stared wide-eyed. The medallion  had shown a soft golden glow and covered the part of her body that went through the portal. She pulled back and turned towards us.
"OK, how we are going to do this is that you guys are gonna take my hand I will just walk right through" She said.
"We just walked right through it?" Leo asked, nervous.
"Yep trust me"
Will you and I turn toward each other giving each other skeptical look,"okay"
She turned back to the barrier. We each grabbed one of her hands and took a cautious  step forward.
Thankfully the barrier do not repel or burn us to a crisp, and so our entrance was smooth and without a hitch. When we got to the other side we let go of Annabeth's hand.
"OK guys be on high alert this entrance that we came through is very close to The dark Fae town so you must be careful who you talk to." Annabeth said.
We nodded and begin our journey to finding Nico.
Nico's POV
As I traveled closer to the castle. I began to notice the way some of the people were looking at me. I tried to ignore it and kept walking, but they started following me. I broke into a run trying to get away from them. I looked behind me and to my horror they were chasing after me except they were no longer elegant looking, instead they are clothes were torn and they had hungry looks on their faces.
They looked like monsters.
Apparently I can't run and look back because I soon tripped and fell down. They closed in on me and when I thought that I was going to die a girl called out in a very mesmerizing voice.
"Hey leave them alone and go back to what you were doing before,"she yelled and surprisingly they listened to her and turned around and went back to what they were doing before.
She grabbed my hand and pulled me up off the ground, and let me to someplace.
As we ran to where ever she was taking me, I got a bit curious as to where she was taking me and so I asked her.
"Hey Miss where you taking me" I asked.
She looked back at me and replied,"I am taking you to my house, and the name is Rachel."
And with that she turned back around and we continued running.

Will POV
As soon as I stepped foot into the village I knew that we would have to hurry if we wanted to find Nico. Even though it looked nice and everyone looked friendly, there was a lingering evil in the air and you could see a sadistic flash their eyes.
Annabeth, Leo,and I split up to look for Nico, but it quickly became evident that he was no longer in this village. Annabeth and Leo  arrived and I told him that he was no longer here.
"Where could he have gone, if he had gone any further without someone, to protect him then these dark Faes would have surely killed him." Leo said
"I'm not sure, The stench from all of these dark Faes are throwing his scent off,"I said with agitation, " let's look deeper into the village."

No POV

The deeper they went into the village the shadier it seemed to get. Soon the sun had begun to lower and it seemed, that was what the Darks were wait for it ,because as soon as the last of the suns rays were gone they pounced on our unsuspecting searchers.
The first dark attackedAnnabeth. It snapped its claws around her neck strangling her. She let out a piercing scream which alerted Will and Leo who were several paces ahead of her.
They turned around and started running in her direction, but before they could reach her more darks attacked them.
Annabeth grabbed at the dagger she had on her side and stabbed the dark attacking her, he cried out in pain and exploded into yellow dust. She then stood up and started attacking more darks, stabbing them kicking at them but they soon overpowered her.

Will and Leo were having an even harder time attacking the dark days because they brought Long ranged weapons. Will had bleeding scratch marks on his arm and chest and Leo had gotten his arm twisted in a gruesome  manner and was now hanging limply at his side.
Right when they were about to give up hope, a pillar water shot down out of the sky, and a person walked out of it.
Everybody stop what they were doing, they were all staring at him. The semi tall stranger swept his sea blue eyes over the scene ,when his eyes got Annabeth, they widened with anger, by this time Annabeth had passed out.
He threw his hands up and the water from the pillar shot towards Annabeth ripping away the Darks that were surrounding her. The rest of the Darks ran away fearing that they would be the next victim.
"Annabeth!" The stranger yelled as he ran to her, picking her a bridal style.
"Hey what are you doing put Annabeth down you weirdo" Leo said.
"I am not a weirdo, I am Percy Jackson the third son of Poseidon, the king of this realm, and Annabeth is my girlfriend."
He then turned and started towards the pillar of water. Leo and Will turned towards each other, shrugged, then followed Percy into the pillar and with a burst of light they were gone.

Nico's POV
It was not full by the time we got to her house, and I was exhausted. Her house was built into a hill and was well hidden so that explains why it was so hard to find.
Rachel unlock the door and let me inside. Her house gave off a homey feeling and I instantly  felt safe.
"So tell me ,what a human such as yourself is doing in the Fae realm," Rachel said,"and why do you smell like a wolf?"
"Fae Realm ? Wolf? What are you talking about, I was just in a snowstorm and this guy will he saved me and-"
"Will, as  in blonde hair beach lifeguard looking Will?"
"Uh- yes"
"And you say you don't know about the Faes or about Wolves,oh crap, don't you know that Will is a werewolf?"
"Werewolves what? Werewolves are make believe ,they're made of fiction ,and they're not real."
   "Well I hate to break it to you buddy but they are ,so  are vampires and fairies and Giants and witches,  I happen to be a witch myself."

    At this point I just gave her a dumbfounded look. Either she's telling the truth or she's just really crazy.
    "I am not crazy I'm telling you the truth and you need to get back to Will"
    "No!I refuse to go back to that lying cheat!"
    "Cheat? Were you and Will dating?"
   I wanted to say that it was none of her business, that she had no right to ask him please dodger about their personal life but instead I spilled my whole story to her telling her every single juicy detail. By the end of it I was enclosed in her arms fighting off tears.
"It's OK next time I see him, I'll rip his head off and hang it on my wall" Rachel said an angry look in her eye .
"I would rather go back to those those monsters than see him!"
She pulled away from the hug and pat my head, then laughed.
" I know you don't mean that."
I was pretty sure that she couldn't tell the difference between being serious or joking but I just let her think that.
