Chapter Two: Kagome's Capture

Kagome had two choices: go to the village with the others, or go home through the well. No. She couldn't go to the village. She'd risk seeing Inuyasha. And now every time she saw him, she would always see Kikyo through his eyes. Kagome quickly took the route to the well that would take her back home. She belonged there. Kagome wondered why she was even here! If there was already a person just like her! Who had the same equal feelings for Inuyasha. She had to go and see Sota, her mom, and Grandpa. Kagome would definitely be needed.

Naraku watched as Kikyo told Inuyasha that they would see each other more often, but now she had to leave, in order to do one of her missions. Kikyo said that when she is done with her mission, she'd return to Inuyasha and be by his side forever. Inuyasha agreed because of how much he loved her and wouldn't want to lose her again. He wants to hold her tightly and have her as his own like always. Pursuing her since he loved her so much. What could that Priestess Kikyo be plotting? Seeing Inuyasha romantically like this. Naraku thought

Naraku blinked as he searched around for a black haired girl with bright brown eyes wearing a green school uniform. Where is that girl Kagome? For a thought, she loves Inuyasha just as equally as Kikyo does. Kikyo began to walk off as Inuyasha stood there, his world revolving on just around her. He slowly headed back to the village, awaiting for the next time the two would meet again. Naraku quietly followed, looming above the trees, seeing Sango, Miroku, and Shippo eat dinner as Inuyasha enters the village. But no Kagome. He suddenly felt her aura at the well.

He smirked lightly as a devious plan entered his brain. One that would slow Inuyasha down possibly, unless he loved Kikyo a lot. Naraku followed Kagome as she was about to jump inside the well. "Going somewhere?" He questions. Kagome's eyes widen as she quickly turned around to face Naraku, quickly becoming serious. "Naraku!" She speaks. Naraku grins, suspecting Kagome to already know his name, judging by the fact that he was her biggest enemy. Kagome pulled out her bow and arrow as she looks deeply at him. "If it's Inuyasha or the Shikon Jewel shards you want, you'll have to pass through me!" Kagome growls.

"Oh but Miko, Inuyasha doesn't love you, he loves Kikyo, remember?" He says reminding her of the two kissing. Kagome shakes a bit as she lowers her bow and arrows. "It's true..." Kagome speaks off into a distance. "He's never loved me...it's always been Kikyo...I've...I've been the second lover...but still...he doesn't love me as much as he loves Kikyo..." Kagome begins to sob a bit as she blinks her tears away. "That is why...I have to leave! Back to my own world!" Kagome declared forcing the words out.

"Miko you are not to return to your world." Naraku declares. Kagome blinks as she glances at him. "Huh?!" Kagome looks at him in disbelief. Naraku simply smirks as he chuckles lightly. "I am here to capture you." He declares. "No! You can't!" Kagome quickly jumps over the well as she holds her bow and arrows and quickly dashes, aimlessly trying to go through the village. A dementing smog surrounds her waist, almost feeling like the grip of a person. Kagome gasped as she was about to faint. "INUYASHA!!!" She yelled as loud as she could, but she wasn't heard. Inuyasha's ears didn't perk, he didn't wonder where she was because he was "sure" she was fine going back to her world. That she would get home safely without guidance just in case.

Kagome fainted on the soft grass as Naraku picked her up, and held her in his embrace. "She was no match for me." He says as he slowly heads for his dark mansion hidden away, Inuyasha clueless as to what just happened. Finally, Naraku arrives at his secluded area, and enters his mansion, empty. He glances at Kagome and grins at her unconscious figure. "Don't worry Miko." He walks towards a room that looked like it was for a royal princess, with a nice rose bed and nice open area, regardless of the remaining mansion. Naraku carefully placed her on the bed, pulling the covers over her, as if he wouldn't properly put her to bed, she'd shatter as the gentle delicate girl she was. "Sweet dreams Miko." Naraku says softly as he quietly closed the door and left the room, going off to do what he usually did in his secret mansion. Why did he take Kagome? To get the attention of Inuyasha or simply because?
