"Jason? Is this you?" I wanted him to know. "Yeah Li. It's me. Are you okay? Where are you?" He sounded concerned. "Well I'm using your plan. So I'm up in the north part of town headed towards Mexico. Meet me at freedom park please? Jason, I just want to see you before I leave. If you won't come with me." I was freezing out here. "Why Lisa? Why run now? You were gonna have a nice family, a good place to live and a warm bed to sleep in. So why run?" He really believed I would be happy wherever they were gonna put me. "Jason how do you know that those people would have been good to me? How?" I was getting a headache. "Cause it was gonna be Nick." I wanted to scream at him. "Go to hell Jason. And when you get there send Nick Stokes an invitation would you?" I threw the phone and sat down in the park grass. I sat there and cried for awhile the stood up and pulled my backpack up and started walking. I didn't know where I was going but I didn't care anymore. I just lost my bestfriend and the boy I love since first grade. My feet and subconscious brought me to a doorstep. Maybe I should give it a try.
