"So kyungsoo... does it?" Kai was staring at kyungsoo with one brow raised trying to intimidate the demon as he continued to speak "The Alpha needs an answer"

"well ahm..." kyungsoo started wide eyed as he avoided kai's piercing glare and took a glance at the new couple before shifting hi gaze back to kai who continued to smirk and stare at him anticipating for his next statement.

Kyungsoo blinked twice before he spoke again as he nervously stared at kai's dark orbs wanting not to speak but he needed to so with trembling lips and a quivering voice he spoke "the book of stones says that a pledge of loyalty will only work if done by midnight."

"aren't you a lucky bastard." Kai suddenly patted chanyeol's cheek making yixing, minseok and kyungsoo glare at their alpha

"Excuse me?" Chanyeol asked in a quite shock

"now i have a reason to invite you for dinner... so would you like to stay for dinner, chanyeol?" Kai asked the vampire who grinned from ear to ear

"I'd be happy to..." chanyeol said without hesitation

Yixing came running towards yeol and held on chanyeol's wrist "But yeol you don't need a blood oath with our alpha." Yixing pulled yeol's arm so he could whisper in the giant vampire's giant ear "It's just plain stupid if you ask me."

"Yixing, he needs this..." kai reassured but yixing was still not so sure about this "and as your alpha i order you  to let him stay for the upcoming ceremony which will be done later... and yixing just stop arguing, look even kyungsoo thinks it is necessary. Right kyungsoo?" He said like no one has a choice.

"i do n..." kyungsoo started but was cut off when kai glared at him. Kyungsoo pursed his lips into a thin line as he glared at kai and his hands turned into fists then he just sighed and shook his head lightly.

Kai smirked victoriously and then shifted his gaze at chanyeol "You mind if i held on this for a while." The alpha tapped the spike on chanyeol's chest making everyone in the room gasped a bit. Especially yixing who was squeezing chanyeol's hand even pulled him lightly though kai was still anticipating an answer from the sweaty and all nervous vampire who's fate was to become their precious hybrid's mate.

"N-no..." chanyeol stuttered the spike was almost poking his chin he was definitely thankful that he was not like his clan members having a long face like sehun and kris. Yixing was pulling his sleeve to get his attention and was shaking his head in disagreement "just please take care of it... it's a family heirloom" chanyeol told kai and the alpha then again pasted his infamous signature smirk of victory and pulled the spike off of chanyeol's chest.

"Don't worry i won't drop it." Kai told chanyeol, though chanyeol just scratched the back of his head and kai was so happy he yelled for his mate and started skipping out of the room like a happy kid with anew toy to brag. "Hey minseokkie!!!"

"What the hell was that yeol?" Yixing suddenly yelled as he pulled chanyeol to face him.

"I told you that i need to gain his trust. So i thought..." Chanyeol sounded so nervous, yixing just rolled his eyes.

Yixing even snorted but his eyes are watering up his face muscles tensed before he told asked chanyeol in a very serious and irritated tone "But A blood oath? wasn't that a too desperate move?" Yixing couldn't hold back his becoming stuffy nose.

"I'll be desperate to have you. I am trying to prove that i am the one for you and nobody else should have you." Chanyeol said and made yixing tear up. Chanyeol opened his arms and held yixing close against him.
