Always (a captainswan fanfic)

Chapter 6

***Killian's POV***

"What do you want Gold?" Regina yells to Rumplestiltskin.

"Well of course what I've always wanted; all the heroes dead." The crocodile says laughing his evil little laugh.

"How did you get into this town?" Emma asks him.

"Magic of course dearie." The dark one replies.

"I'll be around here dearie, but you won't see me when I rip your heart and crush it." Rumples says and then disappears in a cloud of purple smoke. We all look at each other not saying anything.

"Ok, how are we going to stop him?" Emma says breaking the silence.

"I'm not exactly sure that was even him." Regina says looking around.

"What are you talking about?" Snow asks her.

"I sensed magic when he was here, but not the dark one's magic." Regina says.

"Well then who the heck was it?" Emma questions. 

"I don't know, but we need to find out." Regina says worriedly.

"I can do some research at the library." Belle says.

"Ok, I can go to Gold's shop and see what I can find." Emma says.

"I'll come with you." David adds. I would really like to go as well but David is giving me the evil eye so I won't push it.

"Robin and I can look around town to see if we can find the dark one imposter." Regina says.

"What about the real dark one?" I ask. Everyone just kinda looks around.

"I can go back to the loft and call him just to see if he is in New York still." Snow offers.

"I'll accompany you." I say to snow. She nods approvingly.

"Ok well just call me if any of you find anything." Emma says. She then comes up to me. I hug her and she hugs me back.

"Be safe." I whisper into her ear. I kiss her cheek and let go of her. She smiles at me.

We all then go our own ways. Me and snow travel back to the loft. Once we get back we sit at the table and snow gets out her phone.

"Ok, just don't talk because you could make him mad." She says to me. I nod. She dials the number that Emma gave her for Neal's apartment which is where we're assuming he is.

The phone rings a few time.

"Hello." Snow says into the phone. She waits a moment.

"Is a Mr. Gold there?" She ask into the phone. She gives a confused look.

"So he is not there and he took all of his things." Snow confirms.

"Ok thank you, bye." She relies then hangs up.

"Gold left a few days ago and took all of his things with him. He told them he was going to a small town to live." Snow says still somewhat confused.

"But that would most likely mean that that really is the bloody dark one." I say starting to loose my temper.

"But Regina said that wasn't him. What if the one belle sent out wasn't actually him either. What if the one who stole your heart wasn't him either." Snow says standing up.

"I should cal the others." She says grabbing her phone. It then starts to ring though. She answers it.

"Ok we have some information as well. We'll be right there." Snow says and then hangs up.
