Together with Eric and Nathalie, Marley exposed her mother, hers and her fiancée's crimes. The police also brought her in for questioning, but when they realized she couldn't answer any of their questions and why, they freed her of the charges. She never regained her memories. The doctors came up with a theory that the reason her memories left her in the car crash was because of stress.

Eric took Marley in when the police seized her home, and two years later they got married. As she never recalled her past she had to rely on him to teach her the things she needed to know.

Marley's father finally made his appearance at her wedding reception. His only excuse for not contacting her earlier was her mother. He hadn't wanted to be caught or accused of fraud, since he hadn't know what his wife had been doing with their money, and hence stayed off the map. In order to make amends to his daughter, he offered to pay for whatever she wanted.

In the end she just let him pay for her education as a nurse, as long as he promised to stay in contact with her: which he did. The request had surprised him, since her amnesia had given her a completely new personality.

For once, Marley feltat ease with both her unknown past and her present and future. And she hoped tonever ever remember all the awful things she must have done.
