A light wind swept over the field, calm floated over the growing village. Her eyes sparkled as she gazed out at her first born playing  in the grass. The boy's black hair bobbed as he ran around in game of tag with his best friend. Vibrant green grass under their feet and a clear blue sky on a perfect summer's day. A blanket of warmth lay across the two couples and their children.

"They're growing up fast," The woman sitting across from her smiled, looking at her own son. "Don't you think, Casta?"

Casta's eyes drifted away from the vast area in front of them to her closest friend. Lengthy brown hair cascaded around her shoulders until it rested on the ground amongst the blades of grass. Green eyes looked golden in the height of the day. Despite having a young boy, Meera never lost her unique enthusiasm for the world around her. Strong feathered wings were tucked behind the four people whom had their adventures playing back like a camera reel in their memories.

"Yes, yes they do." Zylen shuffled himself closer to Casta, wrapping her in his arms. Warm, bubbly feelings passed through her despite the couple being married for several years.

"Mother, look what we found!" Red boots plodded closer as Tex ran forward, his shagged hair flopping over his fire filled eyes. A clump of daisies were being held captive in the young lad's hands. The proud grin on his face wasn't covered . "For my sister." Daisies fell onto Casta's enlarged stomach extracting a laugh from Meera.

"Looks like someone's excited to have a sibling." Scarlet flushed over the boy's face but the pride was still there.

"I already have a 'brother'." Another boy approached slowly, his quiet nature adding a charismatic charm to the kid. Many of the townsfolk had talked about the child being a future heartthrob but he had other ideas.

"You wish Tex." Mischievous smiles spread across the young faces of the two friends. The fire in their souls glowed bright as they started their tickle fight.

"Have you got any name ideas yet?" Abriel spoke up, drawing back the attention of Tex and his friend.

"I like Hayley, but I don't think it will fit her." Cogs spun in Casta's head as she pondered of the name of her unborn daughter. Names flashed before her as the taste of emerald filled her mouth. "Aviella sounds nice too."

Tex's eyes brightened. The name stood out to him like a sunflower in a field of violets. Simple, delicate, and different. His toes curled in his shoes as he grew curious to what decision his mother would make concerning the name of his sister.

"I wonder if she'll be that special child everyone is gossiping about." Meera liked to stay in the link so she knew what townsfolk were talking about even if it seemed ridiculous. This week it happened to be a child said to be born a Runed Miath who was going to do... something. What the child was going to do wasn't yet determined by the myth makers.

"Unlikely."

"You know, he's showing the signs again." Meera's smile faltered. "He might be a reaper after all but maybe one day he'll be the one to look after the Runed Miath that they all keep talking about."

"I'm sure Grim will make a great reaper."
