I Fell For My Bestfriend (S.M)

Chapter 4

*Lauren's POV* (I didn't reread this after I wrote it so there might be some errors)

After I talked to all of the boys Bart decided that we were all going to go out to eat at a nice restaurant so me and Mahogany decided to go back to our room to find something to wear. I still haven't talked to Shawn and to be honest, I'm kind of nervous too. What if he had a reason as to why he stopped talking to me? What if I did something to make him want to stop being friends with me?

"Lauren what do you think- hey what's wrong?" asked Mahogany. I decided to just tell Mahogany everything because I feel like I can trust her. So I told everything, from how me and Shawn met in kindergarten to when he stopped talking to me. I also told her how I caught him staring at me a few times while we were in Bart's room.

"I'm sure you did nothing wrong maybe he just thought you were busy and didn't want to bother you? Oh and I seen him staring, he definitely likes you" she nudged me. I could feel my cheeks heat up. "No he doesn't he's never admitted it and I'm pretty sure he would've done it by now, we were friends for a long time" I told her.

"Well its typical, he probably didn't think you liked him so he didn't tell you because he didn't want to lose you" she replied. "Wow you know everything don't you?" I laughed. "Maybe I do, maybe I don't" she laughed. "So you like him too right?" she asked. "Is it that obvious?" I asked. "well no but I seen you blush when I said he likes you" she smirked.

"Let's just get ready" I said while running into the bathroom before i started blushing again. She laughed, "I know your blushing" she yelled. "No I'm not" I yelled back. She just kept laughing. Since I already took a shower this morning I just changed into my dress and did my makeup. I decided to do a Dutch fishtail braid with my hair. When I was done I walked back into the room and Mahogany was already done. (pic of the dress at the top^^^)

Me and Mahogany went straight to the lobby because Jacob texted her and told her all of the boys were already down there waiting. Once we got down there most of the boys stared at us. Jacob complimented Mahogany and they started talking and walked away together to the limo. (I still ship Jox so I promise you they will get together in this story)

Shawn asked if he could talk to me and I agreed so we walked to the limo together and he explained why he hasn't talked to me and apologized and of course I forgave him. It was nice to catch up with him, I really missed him. Once the rest of the boys and Bart got into the limo we left to the restaurant and me and Shawn talked all the way there. It feels just like old times.

*Skips the restaurant because they obviously eat there and that's it*

As soon as we got back to the hotel, me and Mahogany went straight to our room and changed into our pajamas. I checked my phone to see that Shawn texted me asking if me and Mahogany want to go to his room that he shares with Matt and Aaron to play truth or dare with the rest of the boys. I showed her the text and she agreed so I texted Shawn back saying we were coming as we left our room.

When we entered the room all of the boys were here and sitting in a circle waiting for us. Taylor went first and dared Aaron to run around the hotel lobby in just his boxers while singing sexy and I know it so we all got up and followed him so we could watch him do it. As he was running around, and old lady screamed at him and wacked him with her purse when he sung it to her.

We were all dying of laughter after that but we didn't want to get in trouble so we went back up to the room and continued playing the game. As the game went on it was all just randomly weird truth and dares.

We were all having so much fun we didn't realize how late it was so we all decided to go to sleep. As I was leaving Shawn called me. "Yeah Shawn?" I asked turning back around to face him. "Well I was wondering if you wanted to go to the movies with me tomorrow since we have another free day?"  he sort of asked. "I would love to" I smiled. He smiled back, God I love his smile.

"great, I'll come to your room to get you tomorrow at 2" he told me. "okay. goodnight Shawn" I said hugging him. He hugged back, "Goodnight Lauren". After I said goodnight to the rest of the boys me and Mahogany walked back to our room. "so you got a date huh?" she smirked. "it's not a date, I've already told you he doesn't like me like that. We're just friends" I said as I laid down on my bed.

"for now" Mahogany laughed. "go to sleep" I laughed while throwing a pillow at her. She just laughed and said goodnight. I couldn't help but just lay there and think about Shawn. He's always been my besfriend but I'm tired of it. I want to be more than just friends with him, I need to get out of the friendzone...
