Gwen was getting a mouthful from Yondu. While he was yelling at her, Gwen was getting beat around like a ragdoll.
"You betray me? Steal my money? I expected this from Quill but from you!" Yondu said
"I know! I'm just the biggest disgrace to the Kosmonian royal family, aren't I! I don't even know that family! The only family I had was back on Earth with Peter! You abducted us! You couldn't have just left us alone?! Peter and I could have had a better life without you in it!" Gwen said
"Why do you care about Quill so much? You never used to worry about him" Yondu said. Gwen was silent. That was until I fell in love with him.
"You've gotten soft, you know that? You used to be tough. What happened to that girl?" Yondu said. Gwen opened her mouth to say something but Gamora spoke instead.
"Yondu!Listen to me. Ronan has something called an Infinity Stone" Gamora explained
"I know what he's got girl" Yondu said
"Then you know we must get it back! He's gonna use it to wipe out Xandar. We have to warn them. Billions of people will perish" Gamora explained
"Is that what she's been filling your head with, Pierce. Sentiment?" Youndu slapped her.
"Eating away your brain like magggots" Yondu said. Gwen glared hard at Yondu. She felt the energy move through her body and she was about ready to blast Yondu with a shot of energy. Before Gwen could even move a muscle, Yondu whistled and his arrow was pointed at Gwen's throat.
"No!" Gamora said
"A captain's gotta teach his men what happens to those what cross him. Captain's gotta teach stuff!" Yondu said
"If you kill me, you're saying goodbye to the biggest score you've ever seen" Gwen said
"The stone? I hope you got something better than that. Ain't nobody stealing from Ronan" Yondu said
"We got a ringer" Gwen said
"Is that right?" Yondu asked
"She knows everything there is to know about Ronan. His ships, his army" I said
"He's vulnerable" Gamora added
"What do you say, Yondu? Me and you, taking down a mark side-by-side, like the old days" Gwen said. Yondu whistled and his arrow dropped. Gwen let out a sigh of relief. He then laughed.
"Let her go!" Yondu said. He then pulled Gwen into a hug.
"There's the tough side I know! Now I know why Quill loves you so much!" Yondu said. Gwen froze and looked at Yondu.
"He what?" Gwen asked. Before Gwen could get a reply, the ship shook. Everyone ran to the front of the ship. There in front of them, was the Milano.
"Attention idiots" Rocket's voice announced. Gwen put her face in her hands.
"Oh god" Gwen muttered.
"The lunatic on top of this craft is holding a Hadron Enforcer. It's a weapon of my own design" Rocket said
"What the hell?" Yondu said
"If you don't hand over our companions now, he's gonna tear your ship a new one. A very big new one!" Rocket said
"A ain't buyin' it" Yondu said
"I'm giving you to the count of five. Five, four, three..." Rocket said. Gwen immediately pressed the button for the intercom.
"Rocket, it's Gwen. We figured it out? We're fine!" I said
"Oh, hey Pierce, what's going on?" Rocket said. Gwen let out a groan and took her hand away from the button.
"He'll be lucky if he doesn't become roadkill when I see him" Gwen said. Gwen looked through the window and in the Milano, she could see Peter looking back at her and smiling.
