The whole kingdom gathered for the honoring ceremony. Peter, Gwen, Gamora, Rocket, Groot and Drax all stood in front of the castle. Ophelia and Xavier were in front of them, preparing to address all the Kosmonians. Xavier was holding a box, which contained the Guardians' gifts. Ophelia and Xavier were dressed to their best in luxurious robes, while the Guardians' wore what they usually wore.
"People of Kosmo, we are all gathered here today for an honouring ceremony. Our Guardians of The Galaxy have shown courage and fought bravely to save all of us. That is why we present them with these" Xavier opened the box and Ophelia continued on speaking, "our planet is known for having the finest gold in all of the galaxy. That is why we present some to you"
Ophelia walked up to Gamora first. Ophelia reached into the box and took out a metal. The gold was so shiny, you could see it from Xandar.
"To Gamora, a fine female warrior. She shows great strength and courage" Ophelia placed the medal around Gamora's neck.
"Thank you, your majesty" Gamora said. After Gamora, it was Rocket and Groot's turn.
"To Rocket, perhaps one of the smartest creatures I've ever met. He too shows great strength and courage. As well as the little one called Groot" Ophelia said. She placed the medal around Rocket's neck, and let Groot take his in his hands.
"Thanks, your majesty" Rocket said
"I am Groot" His voice was quieter than it ever was before, perhaps because he was so small.
"You're very welcome Groot" Ophelia said. It was Drax's turn.
"To Drax, who shows no fear and who is brave enough to fight any battle. You too, show great strength and courage" Ophelia said. She put Drax's medal around his neck.
"Thank you, your majesty, for presenting me with the shiniest gold I have ever seen" Drax said. Now, it was time for Peter to get his medal.
"Star-Lord--"
"Please, call me Peter" he said. Ophelia smiled.
"Very well. Peter, you show great leadership. I can see how much you care for your fellow Guardians. You as well, show great strength and courage" Ophelia placed Peter's medal around his neck.
"Thanks Ophelia" he said. Last, but not least, it was Gwen's turn.
"Finally, my daughter. Gwen, you have grown up to be so kind and beautiful. Your father and I are happy you found a family with your Guardians of the Galaxy, and that you have found love with Peter. Dear daughter, you show great strength and courage" Ophelia said. She placed Gwen's medal around her neck, and then hugged her.
"Your father and I love you very much" Ophelia said.
"I love you too mom" Gwen said. After they hugged, Ophelia turned to face the crowd again.
"All hail, our Guardians of The Galaxy" Ophelia and Xavier chanted.
"All hail the Guardians of the Galaxy!"

After the ceremony, they were getting ready to leave. Ophelia and Xavier wanted to say their final goodbyes.
"We hope you visit again soon" Xavier said
"And please don't hesitate to call us if you ever need our help" Ophelia said.
"We definitely will. We promise" Gwen said.
"Gwen and Peter, there is one more thing we want to do for you" Ophelia said. Gwen and Peter looked at each other, before looking to the King and Queen.
"Sure, anything" Peter said.
"We'd like to perform a blessing ceremony for both of you" Xavier said. Gwen knew exactly what a blessing ceremony was, and she knew that Peter definitely had her parents' approval.
