~ Elizabeth's PoV ~

"I'm goin' to go look around, and hunt. I'll be back soon!" I said as I stood up walking outside. I decided to walk around so as to know my surroundings better.

I walked down the rode sighing wishing I had something to listen to music with. I began humming a song I had loved for so long know and walked down the streets looking around at the scenery.

I loved it. All the green, the trees, the wind blowing as if it were telling me a message, my hair flying behind me, and the soft sound of rain. Yes, it was softly drizzling but I didn't truly mind.

My motorcycle and car were put in the garage, and I had my own little part (however you want to say it). I licked my lips and came into town as we had lived out in the woods. I walked down the streets feeling a tourist which I guess in a a sense I was.

Tourist's stay at a place for a while so as to sightsee and then move on, sometimes not even staying a week. Just like what we would soon do. What I would soon do.

I knew about the pattern. Stay for a couple of years (usually two or three if even that), pack up and leave with no excuse for the people of the place we were, and then repeat.

I didn't like it.

I wanted to graduate. To maybe go to college. I didn't see why vampires made such big deals; the mundane's already knew about vampires (ableit it is about false facts, well some are), and they seemed to actually want us to be true.

I saw a bakery that caught my attention, the name was;

W. Mandevile

GROCER & BAKER

MAKER OF

HOVIS

I walked into the building and was filled with the scent of pastries. I looked at the pastries and saw a lady smile at me, "Ello, dear, what can I get you?" she asked me smiling.

I smiled back, "Um, I'm not sure, really." I replied looking at her.

"Take your time, dear." she said in the same polite tone.

"Do you have any suggestions? They all look so good." I ask after a minute.

"How about some donuts?" she asked.

"That sounds amazing." she smiled at me before she packed a bag full.

"That'll be 5£." she said, as she handed me some donuts.

I smiled glad Edward gave me 1,000£ the day before, claiming to give me more soon. I handed her 100 pounds having no other change, "Sorry, I only have 100's." I sheepishly say twisting a strand of my hair.

"It's fine dear, don't worry." she said as she handed me back 95£.

I smiled and took the money and bags, "Thank you, I hope you have an amazing day." I say smiling at her

"You to dear, come again."

I smiled, "I'm sure I will-I know I will. "

I walked out and decided to go back home to make me some hot chocolate and eat my donuts. Suddenly a silver Volvo appeared beside me, "Ellie, are you okay? We got worried." I turned and saw Edward looking at me.

"I'm fine, babe, don't worry. I just walked around, I was going home know since it's freezing." I say and stepped back as Edward opened the door.

"Get in Ellie, let's go." I got in glad it was warm in here, I turned and grinned at Edward, he smirked back while he turned up the heat and music. "Better, baby?"

I nodded, "Yeah, thank you."

"What's that in your hands?" he asked me as he began to drive again.

"Oh, I went to a bakery and got some donuts, I'm going to make hot chocolate when we go home to eat it. " I explain.

He chuckled and we finally arrived home. We walked inside and I saw Esme walk out of the kitchen, with a mug in hands. "Here, Lizzy, we figured you'd want some. It's pretty cold."

I smiled accepting the mug, "Thank you, Esme."

"You're welcome dear." just as she spoke Jasper and Bella ran inside, I smiled at them but got the usual glare from Bella. . . . .and Jasper.

I ignored the hurt and sat down in the kitchen to eat. When I finished I walked upstairs and began to read a book, it was The Hunger Games. On page 30 I stood up seeing it was 8:00, I went into my closet getting dark blue skinny jeans, a black shirt that had lace at the top, and a different pair of black high heeled boots.

I walked into my bathroom suite and got a towel pout setting my clothes down. I stripped out of my clothes and looked in the mirror that showed my whole body.

I shut my eyes and heard the voice's repeat.

"Why can't you see you aren't worth it?" a snobby girls voice said.

"Go die, Elizabeth, you're nothing but a ugly, worthless, person!" a voice similar to the first added.

"Don't listen to them, Lizzy, please. All of them were lying." a deep and slow voice said.

"You're beatiful. You're worth the whole world." a voice said, this voice soft as velvet and even caring.

"Elizabeth! No! We love you, we love you!" I heard, and this sounded like. . . .Edward.

"You always said that you weren't sure who created the whole damsel in distress, it was you. Even when no one sees it, you are in distress. It took us forever to realize, but it's true." a voice said, my heart aching the way it had when the Olympic coven thought I was dead, and I would remember their voices.

I shook my head and walked into the shower, feeling it hot against my skin. I didn't remember when I turned it on, nor do I remember when I got out. But I somehow washed everything and walked out putting black underwear and a black bra. I put on a random shirt forgetting about how I got clothes and threw on some grey sweats lying in bed, before snuggling into my cover for warmth.
