Bethany's POV
Prom.
That was on my mind.
Summer's dad was out, as was his mom and Ruby and Kayla was waiting with me.
"Do you think they'll come?" Ruby asked.
I sighed. "Yez, I think they'll come Ruby. "
"When did you start saying yez?"
"Second grade." Kayla answered as the door bell rang.
We all raced to the door in out dresses. And what was funny was that Ruby tripped and fell.
When she got up we answered and there were our dates.
Summer, Julian, Carter.
They saw us and there jaw dropped.
We smiled at each other and walked out.
"You look stunning princess." Summer stated.
. "Thank you." I gushed.
"Only for my princess." And with that we all got into the car.
Julian and Summer in the front, and Carter, Ruby , Kayla and me in the back.
But there's some tense here.
Maybe from Carter sitting next to me? Just a guess.
Us girls, well we talked about makeup and stuff.
But when Ruby mentioned 'virgin' I shifted slightly.
Then Ruby kept talking.
"Now that you mentioned it, Ruby are you a virgin?" Julian asked.
Ruby looked ataken back.
"Hell no! I would give my virginity to someone who deserves it."
"Is that someone me?" Julian asked.
"I don't know yet."
"What about you Kayla?" Carter asked.
That would lead to me next. Oh no. I can't tell him!
"Oh no! I'm a virgin. It just makes having a boyfriend easier. Why? Because the boy doesn't have to worry bout beating up his girlfriends rapist."
I feel guilty.
"What about you Bethany?" Summer asked.
Kayla gave me a smile.
"What bout me?" I asked.
"Are you a virgin." He asked.
My stomach curved.
"Um....um..."
Kayla nodded.
"No." I lied.
Kayla looked at me. Anger boiling through her.
"I'm gonna tell him later." She whispered in my ear before getting out of the car.
