Caleb

Not only is this girl hot, she is so cool. At first I thought she was cute but kind of boring. But she started talking more and stopped being so shy. She’s so chill and doesn’t get uptight like all the other girls at our school. Throughout the whole dinner we all talked and goofed around. She was actually quite fun to hang out with, if my heart weren’t already taken and if Aaron hadn’t called dibs first, well I guess I’d be going after her. I would never do that to Aaron though; we’ve been best friends since we were 6.

He’s always been headstrong and if he really wants something, he’ll get it. He’s been a player since the time puberty hit. Okay so I can’t really judge him because I kind of had the same reputation as him, until I met Alexandra of course. I’ve never been happier, and I guess I want him to stick with a girl long enough to actually find out her name. Excluding Priscilla of course, I really don’t know what quality he sees in her that makes him take her back all the time. Sure she’s hot, but like all the other girls that he’s dated, her personality sucks. Something tells me that Leigh is just what he needs.

I look to my right only to find Aaron and Leigh bickering over the best basketball team. I sit back and observe.

“Lakers!” argued Leigh.

“No way! They got nothing against the Heat!”

“Dude, they’ve never even won a championship”

“That’s because they just got LeBron! Duh!”

“Ew. LeBron is so overrated. He doesn’t stand a chance against Kobe!”

I could see Aaron’s face start to turn red. No one insulted his favorite player! I chuckled to myself. If they did get together, it would actually be pretty interesting.

Aaron

This girl drives me crazy; in a good way and a bad way. The whole night, I was so distracted by how beautiful she was. She wore a dark red v-neck blouse that hugged her curves in all the right places. Her shorts exposed her long, toned legs that it was no wonder all the guys had checked her out at least once. Despite her smokin’ hot body, she still managed to look innocent. It was probably due to her big brown eyes that held a gaze that was almost childlike. Or her dimpled smile that was captivating and utterly contagious. Her brown locks tumbled in waves down to her waist; it took a lot of self-control to resist the urge to touch it. Plus there was the fact that she didn’t dress like a slut and put everything on display.

Then again, she was so feisty. Sure, it’s entertaining, and kind of a turn on, but the comment about LeBron was way over the line. At first I thought she’d be like all the other girls I’ve dated, flirting shamelessly the whole night and not having any interest other than boys, fashion, and make up. I was wrong.

As it turns out, she’s practically a dude in a chick’s body. She’s into both playing sports and watching them. She knows her cars, plays video games, and last but definitely not the least, she can just hang out as one of the guys. It’s amazing really how well she got along with us. Apparently, at her old school, she didn’t get along with the girls very well, so she mostly hung out with guys.

We ordered and when the food finally arrived, we all dug in. Even Damon, who was busy hitting on some red head at the other table, came running to the table at the sight of food. We were all starved. It was all good though, I ordered 3 large pizzas and a huge plate of Buffalo wings. I looked over to Leigh and was surprised to see that she had already finished her second slice of pizza. Man this girl can eat! By the time we were all done, I had already lost count of how many chicken wings and slices of pizza she put away.

“You eat a lot.” I commented.

“Are you calling me fat?!” she demanded, anger coating her voice.

“I.. Uhmm.. That’s not what I—“ Crap, I didn’t mean it that way. Based on past experiences I knew, this would not end well. I looked over to the guys for a little help. Man have I screwed up. Then, she does the most unexpected thing ever. She starts laughing. And not just any laugh, a full blown belly busting laugh that had tears rolling down her cheeks.

“You.. should have.. seen your face!” she managed to say in between her laughter. This was a first. Even the guys were staring at her incredulously for a couple of seconds before joining in with her.

“Huh. Sounds to me like someone is really interested in my face.” I smirked.

This immediately stops her laughter and causes her to stick her tongue out at me. “Am not!!”

I grinned and shook my head at how immature she could be. I signaled the waitress for the bill and wait.

“So how much do I pay?” she asks.

“Don’t worry, I got this.” I reply. I always paid for everything when my friends and I went out.

She narrows her eyes at me. “No way, I’m not letting you pay for all of that. How about we split it?”

“How about I say no? Seriously Leigh, it’s no big deal.”

“Okay then, if you say so. I’ll be right back. I need to go to the ladies room.”

She returns a few minutes later with a satisfied smile on her face. The waitress finally approaches the table with the black check book in hand. She turns to Leigh.

“Here’s your receipt ma’am. Thank you for coming.”

Receipt?! I haven’t even paid for it yet. That’s when it hit me. She didn’t actually go to the restroom. I turn to glare at her and see that she has a smug smile on her pretty little face. I can’t believe I just had a girl pay for my dinner.

The four of us walked out of there and made our way to the parking area. Seeing as how it was still early, we decided to explore the place a bit. I saw Leigh’s eyes light up as she saw the arcade. She ran to it excitedly with Damon trailing after her. Some people never grow up.

Damon:

Leigh is officially the coolest girl ever. She owned Aaron so many times today and she was a barrel of laughs. She even pointed out to me that a certain hottie at the restaurant was checking me out. Talk about a good wing woman. Huh. I’ve never had a wing woman before. It’s always just been me, Caleb and Aaron.

I saw Leigh running towards the arcade and I bounded off after her. Aaron and Caleb decided to take their own sweet time because apparently they were too cool for arcades. Pfft. Yeah right, Aaron just wanted to impress Leigh, and Caleb was probably too full to run. What a bunch of pussies.
