I lay there still and silent. My dear older brother holding my dieing body. My blood mixed with my already red hair making it hard and matted. I heard the screams of my crew mates and felt luffy's tears hit my face. "I promised... I PROMISED SHANKS I WOULD PROTECT YOU" luffy screamed.
*flash back*
I stood on the dock with luffy and my now one-armed father. "Why can't I go with you?" I asked for the 3rd time in a row. Tears were streaming down my face like water falls, and it broke shanks's heart. "Where I'm going is a dangerous place." He said. I've always been on the ship with him and his crew. They were my family. But when we landed on this island..... That would all change. I screamed and latched onto shanks's leg and wouldn't let go. I few villagers had to help me pulled back while shanks waved with a sad smile and walked to his ship. After the ship docked and the villagers let me go I sank to my knees and screamed and cried my heart out.
Luffy turned to me and said "he told me to protect you, so I will" ! He smiled his big smile and we walked away. My crying all the way. Sadly that would be the last time I would see my father. Alive, that is.
*flashback end*
Luffy cried to himself. First ace, now you. He watched in pure fear as shanks came on shore to stop the war. What would he think? Would he kill luffy? Would he go ape shit? Who knows. But when shanks seen the head of red unmoving hair in luffy's arms, he died a little inside. He continued his speech and walked over to luffy and his daughter. She reached an arm out only to have it fall when her life force left her body.
