Myles's POV
We got to the ER and got Katie got checked in and they took her to a room. I was so worried something major was wrong with her. The nurse came back and dons all of the regular stuff she's suppose to do.
The doctor finally came and Katie told him all That was wrong with her. They wanted to keep over and run some tests. When the doctor left Katie told me, "Myles go on back and get some sleep, I'll be fine." "No." I said sternly. "Don't sass me mr. Parrish" she said. "I'm staying with you." I said seriously.
They got to her room and hooked her up to some machines. "Mr. Parrish, can I talk to you privately?" The doctor said. I walked out of the room with him. "Yes sir?" I said concerned. "Nothing serious with Katie but we think she might start having migraines often. We're going to do some more test but we can almost be sure of that." He said. "Thank you sir." I said shaking his hand.
I walked back in. "Is everything okay?" Katie asked worried. "Yes baby girl. Just get some sleep." I got in the bed and watched tv while she slept beside me. I texted Kalin telling him we were at that Hospital to when they wake up just drive up here and I gave him the room number.
Morning
I heard a knock on the door, Katie was still sleeping. I answered the door and it was Kalin, Jake and Cam. They had breakfast. I sat on the bed and the boy sat in the chairs. Katie soon woke up. "Oh hey guys!" Katie said. "They brought us breakfast." I said to her handing her breakfast.
Soon after we got done eating the doctor came in. "Ready for tests?" The nurse said. I kissed on the forehead. "I love you." I whispered to her.
After tests
"Mr. Parrish?" The doctor came in. "Yes sir?" "May I talk to you in the hall?" We walked out to the hall. "The tests show she has migraines." He said. "Okay, is there any thing we need to change or is there any treatments?" I said concerned. "Yes, alcohol, chocolate and stress can reduce migraines from happening, also there is something called a TMS (Cerena Transcranial Magnetic Stimulator) which is basically a device placed on the back of the head when symptoms start occurring." He said. "Okay thank you so much doctor. When can she be discharged?" "Well right now they are getting done with all the tests and than I'll get the prescriptions to you than you can leave." "Thank you so much sir." I said walking back to the room.
"Is everything okay dude?" Kalin asks. "Yeah but now she can start having migraines often and I know why she had one." I said sitting down being mad at myself. "Why?" Cam asks. "The doctor said they can be caused by stress and I put stress on her before we left and when she came to surprise me." I said feeling stupid. "I don't want her to get home, be by herself and have a migraine and I be millions of miles away." I said. "Well Dom can stay with her when we're gone." Jake said. "Do you think she will?" I asked. "Of course bro." He said. "Well she still has 6 days here with us." I said.
When she came back and we got the prescription we left the hospital and went back to the bus. She sat down on the couch and I sat beside her. She laid her head in my lap and fell asleep with me rubbing my hands thru her hair.
