I was awoken on this delightful Monday morning by 'nine in the afternoon' playing loudly from my phone, signalling it was 7am and I had to get up for another week in my favourite place. Not.

I got up, got a shower and all of that good stuff, I ate breakfast etc.

I struggled to get into my skinny jeans, doing my little dance if you will and found an old t-shirt that was laying wrinkled in a pile of clothing on my floor. I should probably clean that up I think to myself as I step over the pile.

I sprint down the stairs when I hear Calum beeping his horn at exactly 8.00am, I smiled at his perfect timing, unfortunately in the 5 seconds it takes to get down the stairs, I manage trip half way down and tumble down the rest, earning a strange look from my mom.

'I'M OK' I yelled

'Goodbye mother dearest' I sang

'yeah, goodbye Jasmine' she mumbled, her eyes not leaving the newspaper

I make my way to Calum's car and jump in, turning off the Justin Bieber he had playing and plugging in my phone to put my One Direction playlist on.

'Good morning!'

'Morning' he grunts

Calum is without a doubt the worst morning person I've ever met, so I just ignore him and pick a song from my phone.

We spent the rest of the car journey singing One Direction songs. Wait let me re-phrase that. I spent the rest of the car journey singing One Direction, Calum spent the car journey attempting to turn off the music, but I refused. Harry Styles was the only thing that kept me going on Monday's. And basically everyday.

We pulled into the school parking lot and jumped out, being greeted by stares from all around. I don't why it's so hard for people to grasp that I'm friends with Calum, I get he's popular and I'm not but the stares every morning seemed unnecessary?  I see Danielle wave over to Calum and his eyes light up that little bit more. They both really like each other but they won't admit it, it's kind of adorable and annoying at the same time. But that's none of my business.

I had a little giggle to myself and went to homeroom, wishing the school day would be over already.

I feel like this sucks.. I'm sorry, it's really just to start the book off but hopefully it will get more exciting lmao. Thanks for reading
