The Forest Girl

~Chapter 2~

Autumn & Jack walk into the forest as the snow is falling from the sky quickly.

They were walking forever and found nothing.

"Should we go back?" Autumn asked.

Jack shook his head. "We'll walk for just a little longer." He replied. "I'm very curious,Autumn."

So,Autumn & Jack kept on walking. They started getting tired and sat down to rest for a little bit. There was fog up ahead,so they couldn't see what was in front of them.

After awhile,Autumn & Jack finally stood up. Suddenly,a figure started walking out of the fog,startling Autumn.

"Get behind me." Jack said to Autumn,and she did exactly as she was told. Jack wanted to protect his sister.

The figure came out of the fog. It was a tall girl with lilac colored hair and pale skin. She was wearing many different colors like purple,pink,blue,grey,and teal. The girl had a big smile on her face.

"Look who it is! Autumn and Jack!" the girl exclaimed. "I was looking for you two!" The girl's voice was cheerful and loud.

Jack suddenly became angry. "Who are you?" he demanded.

The girl smiled. "My name? Why would you want to know my name?" she replied. Jack glared at the girl who did nothing but smile back. "Well,if you REALLY want to know,my name is Lovisa." she said.

"Another question." Jack said firmly. "How do you know our names?"

"I know everything!" Lovisa giggled. Jack raised his eyebrow. Lovisa continued, "I know that you two do nothing but boring chords all day and you want a fun,amazing life without chores."

Autumn smiled. "It's true!" Autumn yelled. Jack motioned for her to be quiet.

"If you want an amazing life,then just follow me!" Lovisa said cheerfully,then slowly started walking into the fog.

Autumn started following Lovisa until Jack stopped her. "Autumn,I don't think this is a good idea." Jack told her. She frowned. "But Jack..." she said sadly. "Why not?"

Jack sighed. "You can't really trust a woman who randomly comes out of the forest and knows everything about us." he responded.

"Please Jack,please?" Autumn begged. Jack knew Autumn would probably become really upset if he didn't let her. Jack looked back at Lovisa who said,"What are you two waiting for? Come on!"

"Maybe I can trust her." Jack thought. He bit his tongue,finally making up his mind.

"We can go with her." Jack said. Autumn grinned and skipped towards Lovisa. Lovisa clapped her hands together. "Hurray! Let's go!" she cheered.

Jack & Autumn followed Lovisa throughout the forest. It was long walk. Lovisa & Autumn seemed to becoming friends. Jack observed Lovisa the whole walk.

After they passed under a golden arch,Lovisa said, "We're almost there!"

A cobblestone trail was under their feet instead of snow. Jack saw some swans off the trail. "Are these swans your's?" Jack asked.

"Yes! They're my killer swans!" Lovisa answered.

Jack & Autumn's eyes widen once Lovisa said that. "K-ki-killer swans?" Autumn stuttered. "Don't worry! They only kill intruders,not guests! And you two are guests." Lovisa replied. Autumn hugged her and smiled while Jack sighed with relief.

Up ahead,Jack saw a huge mansion. "This is my home,or as like to call it,The Castle!" Lovisa announced. Autumn was amazed at The Castle. "It's so pretty." Autumn said. "Wait till you see the inside!" Lovisa whispered in her ear.

Lovisa reached for the golden doorknob and let Jack & Autumn into The Castle.
