The Forest Girl

~Chapter 4~

(A/N:Really sorry I haven't been updating! Well,here's Chapter 4. Enjoy! ^-^)

Jack woke up the next morning and saw Autumn staring out the window.She was standing completely still.

"Autumn...?" Jack said. He slowly got up and walked over to her. He tapped on Autumn's shoulder.

"Are you alright?" he asked. Jack looked at Autumn. Her face was pale and she looked terrified.

Autumn look at Jack and smiled. "I'm...good." she answered.

Jack raised his eyebrow,not sure if Autumn was lying or not. "You look sick." Jack stated.

"I'm fine,Jack!" Autumn yelled,scaring Jack. Jack was shocked at Autumn's actions. She has never screamed or yelled at him before.

Slowly,Jack walked back to his bed and sat down. Autumn and Jack said nothing for a long time,until there was a small knock on the door.

Lovisa entered the room,smiling as always. "Breakfast!" she said softly. Autumn turned around and looked at Lovisa,and Lovisa gave her a strange grin.

Jack stared at Lovisa and Autumn. He cleared his throat. "Let's go have breakfast..." he mumbled

Lovisa,Jack,and Autumn had a huge breakfast in the dining hall. Lovisa talked to Autumn,who would just respond with nods or "Okay"

For the rest of the day,Autumn was acting strange. Every time Jack would ask her if she's ok,she would start shouting.

"Something's going on." Jack thought to himself. "And it probably has to do with Lovisa."

That night,Jack had trouble sleeping,since he knew something was up. Suddenly,the bedroom door slowly started to open. It was Lovisa.

Jack pretended to be asleep. Slowly,he open one of his eyes. He saw Lovisa walking over to Autumn and she was holding something. Jack squinted in the dark,trying to make out what it was.

He was shocked and horrified when he found out it was a sword. Jack was so scared,he could barely even move.

Jack watched as Lovisa shook Autumn awake. Autumn moaned,obviously not wanting to be woken up.

"Come on,Autumn!" Lovisa whispered excitedly.

"Please! I don't want to. I-"

"Just do as I say!" Lovisa replied,cutting Autumn off. Autumn sighed and got out of bed,following Lovisa into the hallway.

Jack was puzzled by the conversation they had. "What's going on?" he thought as he got out of bed and walked into the hallway.

He walked to where the entrance door was and saw Autumn and Lovisa walking out the door.

Jack quickly went to the entrance door and quietly opened it,trying not to make any noise.

Jack followed Lovisa and Autumn throughout the forest. "Where is Lovisa taking Autumn to?" Jack thought.

Finally,he saw Lovisa and Autumn walk up to a small house. They broke into the house. Jack ran up to the house and looked in the window.

He saw a woman sleeping in a bed. Lovisa and Autumn entered the room where the woman was sleeping,and Lovisa handed Autumn the sword.

Autumn started to cry as she raised the sword and killed the woman.

Jack gasped. He quickly ran away from the house and somehow found his way back to The Castle.

He opened the door and slammed it shut. Jack was breathing heavily. "Lovisa forced Autumn to kill someone!" Jack whispered to himself as he walked back to the bedroom.

Slowly,Jack fell asleep. All he was thinking about before he went to sleep was the fact that Autumn killed someone.
