The old woman held my hand close to her. "I understand why you are so afraid my dear." She said.

I looked at her as she walked around in the room. From behind me to in front of me in minutes, she just took her time. "You do?" I finally spoke.

"Indeed." She replied.

"But how? I'm sure this has never happened to you in your life." I asked.

She looked me in the eyes. "What happened to you. Happened to me as well dear. It just takes time for you to realize that being here is a good thing." She smiled.

I stared at her in shock. "How long...have you been here."

"I'll answer that when the time comes." She answers as she hears a knock come from the door.

She leaves the room, making me gather more and more questions to ask her. How long has she been here and why is she here?

"Hello." I hear.

I turn to the voice and see, "Emmet." I say.

He smiles and walks over...but I can't be too close to him...

I entered the room after my grandmother left. Kathy stood in the middle of the room, it seemed as if she had multiple things on her mind. "Hello." I say.

She turns around and faces me. "Emmet." She says.

I could tell she wasn't sure, like she didn't trust me. Does she think I'm lying about my name?

"Your name isn't Emmet is it..." She says.

"I knew it. You don't believe me." I say looking at her. "Is your real name Kathy?" I add sarcastically.

"Uh...no. It's uh...Carmine." She lied.

"You're lying." I reply and she stares at me shocked.

"No I'm not. How do you even know?" She asks in a high tone.

"I have my ways..." I laugh.

She laughs along but instantly stops. I move toward her and she backs into the wall. I thought I was actually getting somewhere....

He started to walk toward me, but my instant reaction was to back up. That didn't do me any good considering I backed up into the wall. "Stay. Back." I stay as I grab a fork that sat on the table next to the wall.

He put up his hands and stood still. "Kathy...just put it down okay?" He says soothingly.

He starts to walk toward me once more, but this time I lung forward.

I go to stab him in the chest but his hand stops me. His hand covers mine and keeps me from moving. "Let go!!" I start to freak.

"Put the freaking fork down!" He freaks back.

I drop the fork as his hand still holds mine. "Let. Go." I say once more and he does so.

He stared at me and smirked. The next thing I knew was him grabbing me and putting me on his shoulder! "Hey!" I yell as my fists hit his back.

"Would you stop...please..." I hear him say.

"No!" I yell as he exits the room with me on his shoulder.

"Kathy!!" I yell at the bottom of the mountain.

I hear a slant howl come from the distance. Someone was summoning me, great. 'Coming' I send in the mind link.

I bolt along through the trees, dodging every stump and every bolder in my way. I continue to run even when I saw my best friend Sally running across from me. I wave and continue to run, eventually catching up to her side of the forest. "Summoned?" She asks as we continue to run.

I nod and smile. "Same here! I'll meet you there." She yells as she runs to the left and I run to the right.

"Meet you there." I say silently to myself and smile.
