"Yeah, Li, I'm being serious! I- Oh, hang on, I'm getting another call." Louis said, putting Liam on hold.

"Hello? Is this Mr. Louis Tomlinson?"

"Yes, this is. May I ask who is this is?"

"This is Ava, from the Doncaster Adoption Agency. I would just like to let you know that the papers came through. You and your husband are eligible to adopt. Congratulations!"

"Oh-oh my god. Oh my god. Th-thank you so much." Louis said, standing up.

He could feel his eyes beginning to tear up. He and Harry had been applying to agencies for two years now; He couldn't believe they actually accepted them. Louis can't wait to tell Harry.

"When do you think you two will be able to come down here and sign the last form?"

"Probably tomorrow, since Harry's not here right now. He's coming home later today, so I'll let him know. Oh gosh, I just don't know what to think. He's going to be so happy. Thank you so much." Louis said, smiling.

"Congratulations, sir." Ava said, hanging up.

"Lou, you still there?" Liam asked after a few minutes. "I can hear you crying." He said, chuckling.

"Liam, the adoption center called. Harry and I can adopt. We're gonna have a baby!"

"Oh my god, Lou. Congrats!"

"Thank you, Li. I can't wait to tell him. Ah, he's not going to be home until late."

"Well, at least that gives you some time to plan what you're going to say."

"Yeah, yeah. Alright, well, I'm going to go. I'll call you and tell you what happens tomorrow. Oh, and tell Zayn hi for me."

"Will do, mate. Good luck."

After hanging up with Liam, Louis tried to think of ways to tell Harry that he is going to be a father. With no such luck, Louis then searched through the internet. He couldn't find a good idea so he decided to go to the craft store and look around to help him brainstorm.

At the store, Louis found some iron-on letters and baby things, like rattles and bottles. He picked out one of each color, because he wasn't sure if they would get a boy or a girl. To be honest, Louis wanted a boy and a girl. He wanted the girl to be older than the boy, but not by a lot. Maybe 3 years or so. Harry didn't have a preference. He always said that he would love them no matter what gender or race, but deep down, Louis knows Harry would a soft spot for his little girl.

Before proceeding to the checkout lane, Louis happened to find some plain white t-shirts, so he picked up two, in case he messed up. He had no clue how to work an iron. He wasn't even sure if they had an iron. He would have to text Harry when he got home.

When Louis arrived back at his and Harry's apartment, he took his crafts out of the bags and organized them on the table. He also texted Harry to find out if they had an iron. To his surprise, they did, but when Harry asked why Louis wanted it, Louis just made up an excuse about an old, wrinkled shirt that he had found.

After reading the directions a few times (and watching about a thousand YouTube videos), Louis felt that he was ready to start.

He placed the shirt on top of the ironing board he has also found and went to work. After about an hour of ironing, Louis was done. He knew it shouldn't have taken that long, but he kept having to stop because he kept burning himself. He took a step back and admired his masterpiece.
