Avy
6:52 a.m
I dust all the lint off my skirt and blazer and clean myself.
I then walk downstairs exiting the door without saying a word, I inhale the cold air and exhale before walking to school, me and Chris had this bet that we wouldn't use the bus for school until year 13.
Of course, I never broke that promise. It's been 4 years since Chris disappeared, the search is over, he's gone.
I am a year 12 student just one more year and I'm out of school and to off to college.
It's been different, without Chris, we did everything together, I wasn't the 'popular' one in school. He was always the mysterious one. He was popular because he was mysterious.
I'll tell you now, he is mystery...
I approach the school entering the entrance. My eyes were on my timetable, I wouldn't look at anyone when they're talking to me. I stopped smiling, I had this blank facial expression. I don't join dinner, lunch or be included with my family anymore. I did that all for 2 years.
I waited 2 years for him, nothing.
"Avy, how are you?" I hear my tutor speak and I give him no response.
I gave no one a response.
*during maths*
"And you can see the square root of—" my ringtone for my IPhone 6S goes off."Avy? Wha– hang on, what are you doing? *chuckling*" My ringtone was Chris's voice.
I could tell everyone was staring at me.
I didn't care what was going on.People in my school is bullshit.
Why is everyone acting fake?
As if their whole life were a façade...Mr.Jose then sets us homework and talks to me.
"I'm very worried about you, Avery." He said and I just stared at my false nails.
