On the train Sid sat next to me. We usually shared earbuds on little trips, this was no different. He smiled as I played my music. He rested his head on my shoulder and I rested my head on his. I'm surprised he's not sick of my at this point, really.

Wonderwall by Oasis began to play and I could sense that Sid began smiling. That was one of his all time favorite songs. I heard him hum along to the first line. I couldn't help but pick my head up and just look at him. He was smiling, his eyes closed, just humming. I took his glasses off of him in case he fell asleep. "Thank you, baby." He said in between verses.

I arched my back so he could put his arms around me. He snuggled me closer. I checked the time on my phone.

9:41 am

We were to reach London around noon. And I wouldn't want to spend that much time with anyone but Sid.

"Maybeeee you're gonna be the one that saves meeeeeeee." He sang quietly, looking up at me after, probably expecting me to finish it.

I smiled and shook my head.

"And after alllllllll," I looked back down at him.

"You're my Wonderwaaaaallllll." We both sang. He kissed my lips quick and went back to cuddling the right side of my body.

He was snoring softly, drifting off to his dreams. I looked up and spotted an elderly couple looking at us. I smiled and waved.
The lady waved back.

"James, look," she said, shakily pointing a delicate finger at Sid and I. "Doesn't that remind you of us?" She smiled as he kissed her forehead.
"Yes," he smiled and grasped her hand.

I smiled at the couple once more and looked down at my sleepy little man. I took his hat off of him and fixed his hair. "That'll be us, Sidney." I know he couldn't hear me. But I knew it needed to be said.
