I woke up to the train jerking. I shook Sid light enough to wake him. "Sid, wake up, honey. This is our stop." I said gracefully. "Fuuuuck." He mumbled, still half asleep. He groggily sat up, fumbling his bag onto him. He helped me up and I gathered my things.

We made it off the train. As soon as we stepped out into the fresh air I inhaled. This is home. I thought. I grabbed Sid's hand. "I'm gonna show you around."

I guided Sid through the city and explained what everything meant to me, because me being as poetic as I am, I had a lot of memories to certain things.
We passed a little creek by one of the schools.
"Had my first kiss there when I was fourteen." I spoke. He just nodded and smiled, admiring the scenery.

We got closer and closer to my dad's house and I grew nervous. We passed a field right behind his house.
"This was supposed to be a new library, but they never got around to building it... So me and my friends used to come here and look at the sky during summer." I smiled and thought about the greatest memories.

We approached my fathers door and I nervously rang the doorbell. "Who's nervous? I'm nervous! I talk to myself a lot." Sid sang out. I laughed and grabbed his hand. The door suddenly opened, and my dad emerged. "Dad!" I let go of Sid's hand and hugged him. "Hi, Luna." I wrapped my arms around him. I hadn't seen him in almost two years. He never wanted to come to Bristol, not so sure on why, but I just left it unknown.

He let go and I turned to Sid. "Dad, this is my boyfriend, Sid." I smiled, giving him a reassuring look. "What's up, brotha?" My dad said rather loud, shaking Sid's hand. I rested my face in my hand, how embarrassing. "Hello, sir. " he grinned. "Come on inside, I've got tea, some crackers, some alcohol," Sid walked inside.

"Really, Dad?" I laughed.
"What?"
"What's up, brotha?" I mocked him.
"Oh be quiet," he laughed as I walked in.
