Asia's Pov

"You are going on another date with a new boy" Says mama.

"The only place I am going is back to the jail to see Cyn before she leaves." I demand. Carlos and my mother arranged for Cyn to be sent to some mental facility miles away, so we cannot see each other.

"You will never see her again. She is not coming back for years, Asia."

"I hate you. I wish you'd just do me a favor and die!" I scream at her. I continue to scream nasty and hateful things at her until she slaps me. I guess I should have seen it coming. I run to the bathroom and start crying.

Karla's Pov

"I don't know how much longer I can put up with this." I tell Carlos.

"Babe, just hang in there. Pretty soon they will find new people and fall in love with someone who isn't related to them."

"We have to make Asia think Cyn doesn't want her. As long as she thinks Cyn loves her she will never move on." I explain to him.

"I'll handle it. Just give Asia Cyn's letter."

"The one that Cyn professed her love to Asia?" I ask.

"The one she wrote to the judge explaining that she never truly loved Asia."

"I'll do it right now."

I take the letter and go into Asia's room. She is crying into her pillow. I give her the letter and sit on the edge of her bed as she reads it outloud.

"Dear Judge Blake,

I have suffered from bipolar disorder since I was a young child and my mother died in a traumatic way. Recently I stopped taking my medication because I believed I was cured, but I was sadly mistaken. I grew an attraction towards my step sister. She was younger than me and very hot headed. It was very easy for me to manipulate her into liking me. I wanted to have sex and when she denied me I forced myself onto her. The next day I seen her kissing another girl, so I tried to kill myself. I made her feel sorry for me and convinced her to break me out of the hospital. After that it was pretty much easy to make her do anything I wanted. I made her think going to New York was a good idea and that I actually loved her. Now after a week of taking my meds and thinking clearly I realize that I don't love Asia as anything more than a little sister and that everything that has happened has been a mkstake.

"This is a lie." Asia cries.

"Sweetheart this is the letter she gave the judge. I tried to warn you about her disorder." Asia cries into my chest as I hug her.

"I need to talk to her." She cries.

"She was released and she found someone else." I lie.

"What? Who? When?"

"It just happened. Carlos just informed me when he gave me the letter."

Cyn's Pov

"Dad, you have to get me out of here." I beg.

"On one condition." He smirks.

"What is it? I'll do anything." I was so desperate.

"Asia wants to see you."

"Oh my God! Really?"

"Don't get excited. Karla and I have came up with a plan to make sure she never has feelings for you again." He says.

"What?"

"Asia read your letter to the judge and Karla says you found someone knew. I need you to make her believe it is true."

I start crying and fall to my knees. "I can't tell the girl I love that I found someone else."

"Just tell her you found someone else and I will let you off the hook."

"I can't hurt her like that. I will stay here until I die before I hurt her."

"Fine." He sighs. "Have it your way, but you will never leave here and Asia will never know that you are here. She will think you abandoned her."

I turn my back to him and he walks out of the room. I lay on the bed and cry into the pillow. I would never see Asia again because of our stupid parents.

Carlos's Pov

Cynthiana just doesn't understand what I am trying to do. I have to protect my reputation and my business. It looks bad if she is dating her step sister. They are family whether they want to admit or not.

"What did she say?" Asia asks me as I walk in the house.

"Have a seat." I tell her. She sits down next to Karla on the couch and I sigh then look Asia in her eyes. "She said she just can't see you right now. She thinks it might set off a trigger and she could relapse and go off her meds again. She has to think about her new relationship and making that work, so she doesn't get sent back to a mental institution."

"She didn't even say goodbye to me." Asia cries to Karla.

"She's still my daughter and your step sister. You'll see her again one day." I assure her.

"I don't ever want to see her again." Asia demands as she goes upstairs to her room.

"I think our plan is working." Karla smiles. I kiss her and nod my head.

"We are the best parents in the world." I tell her.

"I arranged for Asia to start school in the fall in Spain. She'll live with my mother . I thought she could use some space."

"That's brilliant and by then I let Cyn out if she promises not to contact Asia."

"Everything worked out fine."

"Indeed it did."
