Trapped in a Blocky World

Chapter 3

"Ugh! It's too hot outside! Why can't it be cool in the summer and warm in the winter?"

The temperature outside is only 80 degrees.

"All I can do is play minecraft! There is nothing else to do." David assumes.

"Hey David, I'm going to the store, want to come?" Asks his mother.

"No mom. I'm in the middle of something!" David yells.

As his mother is leaving the house, she is thinking, "how can I get him to go outside? All he does is sit around the house and does nothing! How can that be fun? I'm going to do something!"

His mother was gone for hours. Where was she? What happened to her? Is she ok?

David doesn't care. He keeps playing minecraft because he is bored...

Wait... Not bored... Addicted...

It was getting worse. He cares more about the little computer game then is mother.

It was about 5 PM by now. His mother should have been home by now. She had left at 10 AM.

"She's ok" thinks David as he continued.

Meanwhile, at the store, his mother is thinking if David is ok. She had done this on purpose. She was tired of David doing nothing all day. Her plan was to make him worry and then he would walk to the store to check if she is there.

But it had been many hours after she left. She was almost certain David cared about the game more than his mother.

"Why is that game so addicting to him?" Thinks his mother.

David knows why though...

Hey! So I am posting daily now I guess. I started this book Sunday, and I released the second chapter today (Monday) so yeah. I have actually written 2 more chapters so I'm stocked till Wednesday, but the 5th chapter will be longer, so it's taking me longer than usual to write it. I believe this is chapter 3 isn't it? It should be out Tuesday.
