Trapped in a Blocky World

Chapter 5

Man, the book has been exciting! I wrote this part on 7/8/13 so this is published quite a while after I wrote it.

I'm just listening to music. Writing more of this book!

So as I said, this chapter will be longer. Hopefully. I have had someone say that they need to be longer.

David slept all day. He has now woken up at about 2 AM. The laptop was dead. He was bored. His mom was asleep.

He found a note on his door.

"I am tired of trying. You love minecraft more than me."

David is starting to realize what he has done.

Through his fun game, he caused his mom to stop even trying. He wanted to say sorry so bad, but it wouldn't have meant anything to her, especially in the middle of the night.

David suddenly started crying. What has he done?! David is thinking "I messed up everything!"

One of David's best friend, Drew, was texting him. David asked him if there was a way to fix it.

Drew was a very nice guy who is always there for David. Drew helped him out. Recently, Drew's grandpa had passed away. He was down for a while. Him and David haven't talked in a while. David sometimes wondered if he was still his friend. But at the time, it didnt matter.

David needed help. Drew was not awake at 2 AM though.

David tried to go back to sleep, but he had just slept for a good 17 hours. He wasn't tired. He was far from it.

He went to lay in his bed until morning. He would go over what he would say to his mom.

"Hey mom. I want to talk to you." Thought David,"I want to say sorry. I always was ignoring you. I got too addicted to Minecraft. I didn't pay any attention to you. I'm sorry."

After a while, it was 8 AM and he was ready. He told his mom everything. Then she said back, "thanks David. You have."

But she wasn't happy. It had been a long night for her too. She couldn't sleep! She thought about David and why he was addicted.

She knew that David slept all day yesterday. She wasn't happy about that either.

How can David fix this? He decided to stop playing minecraft for a week, to see if that will break his addiction.

David has told his mother about his plan, and for the first time in a while, she was actually happy!

David's mother was excited for his plan. He needed it. He finally sees what's best for him.

He decided that he would have some fun.

He went outside and started riding his bike down the street, and he went to his others friends house. It was this girl.

David kinda liked this girl. She was a nice girl who enjoys having fun riding her bike.

David asked her if she wanted to go on a bike ride. She said yes. She went to get her bike and started riding.

"I wonder if he likes me?" Thinks the girl.

Her name was Hannah.

David and Hannah went on a bike ride. At first it was silent. They both were thinking the same thing. "Does he/she like me?"

After 5 minutes, they stopped at a corner. They started talking about what has been up.

"What's up?" Asked David.

"Oh nothing. I have been bored at home. I'm so glad you came to ride with me. You are a really fun guy to ride with." Said Hannah.

David thought "she seems really nice and I think she likes me."

Oh how right you are David.

Hannah dreams about David everyday. David had forgotten why he even left the house in the first place.

Hannah was happy.

"Let's go somewhere fun! Exciting!" Exclaims Hannah.

David agrees, and they go riding into a forest.

Hannah thought this was the most romantic place. They stopped at a little pond together.

Hannah wanted David to know about it.

"Hey David," said Hannah, "I've been thinking, we have been friends for. While now and I want to ask you something..."

David is freaking out now. He knows that she likes him now.

"Can you please go away and don't look for a minute? I have to take care of business."

Well great.

I did not see that coming.

"Does she really not like me? She acted like she did before!" David thinks.

He was wrong. Hannah was going to tell him. But she got nervous. She went over behind a tree and waited there for a little bit. She was nervous. But David was too.

David liked her, and wanted her to know that.

They kept riding for a while. They went down a steep hill. It was exciting.

But David was sad...

Sorry this was shorter than you probably expected. And I don't know why this is in the story. I guess because of what is going on with me and Amy <3

I'm probably not going to update for a while. Maybe I'll wait. I need to get chapters ready for vacation.
