Stand By You

A/N: lol. Um. I haven't updated in ages. I actually have no excuse 😬 So sorry. To anyone that actually reads this. I'm thinking about changing this to just a bunch of different one shots. Not just ones based off of music. So ya. This'll probably be the last one about music.
This has VERY established solangelo. Will is 20, Nico is 18.

"Come on, Nico! We're almost there! Hurry up!" Will said, attempting to
motivate me.

"I didn't want to get up this early, Will. Where could you possibly be dragging me?" He just smiled at me, pulling me along.

"Sit here. And wait. Don't move." He ordered.

"Wait! Why are we at Zeus' Fist? Will? Where are you going?" At this point, I was so confused.

"Just don't move. I'll be back." Will ordered once again. "I promise, you'll wanna be here for this."

I nodded, but when he turned away, I rolled my eyes. Usually Will's plans never go right. I should probably start mentally preparing myself to be completely and utterly embarrassed.

Just then, I heard music starting to play. Oh no. This could not be good. I saw Kayla, Hazel, and Reyna emerge from the trees. If Will got Reyna to sing... Then dam. I'm impressed. This must be important. They each dropped a red rose on my lap.

The three girls began to sing.

Hands, put your empty hands in mine. And scars, show me all the scars you hide. And hey, if your wings are broken, borrow mine so yours can open too. Cause I'm gonna stand by you.

Annabeth, Thalia, and Calypso walked out from the trees next, joining in the song, also each dropping a red rose on my lap. I was surprised that Thalia was here. This has to be important.

Oh tears, make kaleidoscopes in your eyes. And hurt, I know you're hurting, but so am I. And love, if your wings are broken, borrow mine so yours can open too. Cause I'm gonna stand by you.

Next, Percy, Jason, and Leo emerged, also joining in the song. They were way off-key, but it was the thought that counts. They dropped red roses on my lap as well. I think was starting to put the pieces of the puzzle together...

At the end of the chorus, the entire Apollo cabin walked out, followed by the Athena and Hermes' cabins, all throwing red roses at me. Except one person was missing. Will.

Several more cabins walked out in front of me, throwing more roses. I recognized the Hecate, Ares, Hypnos (they're awake?), Aphrodite, and other cabins. I couldn't even begin to count.

More people walked out from behind the trees. Some were standing in the creek now, others were jumping on other people's backs because of the lack of room. More roses landed all around me. A lot of planning went into this. But Will was still missing.

By now, it seemed like both of the camps were standing before me, roses showering everywhere. Even if Will was in the crowd, there's no way I would be able to find him. Tears of joy pricked my eyes.

Suddenly, everyone quieted, and the crowd parted. Will was in a handsome suit, walking forward with a box in his hands. He began to sing all by himself.

Will was standing before me. He dropped a single white rose on my lap. And now he was on one knee. "Death Boy, I'd do anything for you. I'm always here for you as a shoulder to cry on, as a friend to laugh with, as a person to just sit in silence with. Likewise, I'll always need you. We're complete opposites, which just makes us an even better match. You'll always be my other half. Without you, I'd be lost. I don't know what my life would be like if I never met you, but I know it would never be as good as my life is now. You complete me. You are brave, sarcastic, funny, and super, duper hot. You'll always be my death boy, my sunshine, but most of all, the person I love.  I want to spend an infinity with you. So please, don't let me make a fool of myself more than I already do. Please say yes. Nico di Angelo, will you marry me?"

I was full on sobbing now. I couldn't  speak. I just nodded. He slipped the ring on my finger, and we kissed without a care in the world. I saw Will pumping his fist in victory. The crowd was cheering, but I hardly noticed them. All I could think of was the fact that I was getting married. To Will. My life was finally good. Hell, it wasn't just good. Life was the best it could ever be.

A/N: once again, sorry for not updating. Anyways, I hope my few readers like this. I had a really fun time writing it because SOLANGELO. I had to call the fanbulance like 10 times while writing that because of the feels.
