Kat’s POV.

I woke up early still next to Harry. Today is another dreaded day that I will have to go meet my father. Today is also the first day of my new counselling schedule that I will have to skip. I slowly sat up being extra careful, making sure not to disturb Harry.

I smiled at his cute sleeping face. He looked so peaceful and like nothing was wrong. I wanted so badly to tell Harry to come with me. I wanted him to protect me but I feel that would only cause more trouble. I climbed out of bed carefully and left the room.

I headed to his door and left his flat kind of thing. I don’t even know what to call these things. They’re bigger than rooms and they are smaller than apartment’s so I don’t even know. Walking slowly I made it to mine and Kiara’s room and entered at ease.

Entering the room I noticed the clock on the wall displaying that it was 1pm. Wow, I thought I woke up early. I chuckled at myself and made my way to my room.

“Kat?” I heard Kiara’s voice from the kitchen. I smiled as she appeared from the kitchen. “Hey” I greeted her and stopped walking. “Where have you been? We never see each other anymore” She complained.

“Oh yeah I know. How about we hang out tomorrow?” I asked hoping she wouldn’t question what I was up to today. “Yeah that works” She stated, making me smile “I’m helping in the kitchen today, so I have to go” Kiara slipped on her shoes and saluted me before leaving.

I walked to my room and tied my hair back. Grabbing some clothes, I changed and grabbed a handkerchief that I found lying around. I pushed it into my pocket just in case I get hurt today. I was planning on telling my dad that I can’t see him anymore, due to the new counselling schedule and I don’t think he’ll take that well.

I grabbed a red sweater and walked to the door. Opening it silently, I stuck my head out making sure no one was coming. When I saw the coast was clear I booked it towards the vent I usually go through. It was at the back of the building and since my room is pretty close to the back it doesn’t take long to get there.

I was in the usual meeting place waiting for my dad. I left early so I had time to buy a hot dog to eat since I kind of skipped breakfast. I smiled in satisfaction when I finished it and threw the wrapper on the ground. I was in an alley so no one would see me.

I heard footsteps coming from the far end of the alley and soon a familiar figure stood in front of me. My father as usual had a creepy smile played on his face.

“You showed again, good” He stared at me. “So how’s Harry” He questioned, tilting his head slightly to the side. “Why haven’t you blamed him yet?” He questioned, his smile instantly fading. I didn’t have time to answer as my father continued. “You’re only making this harder on yourself Kat. You only have a week left until he goes back on tour and if you don’t blame him by then well, you’ll be in a lot of trouble” He fakely smiled.

I stared at him in confusion. “What do you mean? Harry’s not leaving” I shook my head at my dad’s stupidity.

“Oh” My dad raised his eye brow “He didn’t tell you?” He asked.

“Tell me what?” I pressed on. If Harry did have to go on tour he would have let me know by now, especially since he asked me to be his girlfriend yesterday. “Harry has to go back on tour next week. He didn’t tell you? Even I knew that, hun” The use of the word ‘hun’ disgusted me.
