If Youre Not A 5sos Fan You Can Skip This Chapter

Since I got a lot of hate for saying I don't want to include 5sos in this book, I just thought I'd put this all in one chapter so I can stop wasting my time having to respond to stupid, annoying comments.

I apologise if you are a genuine nice person who came to enjoy this book and have been caught up in this mess. I appreciate you all so much. Also thank you to anyone who backed me up.

I am not sending any hate towards 5sos, I am simply clearing up some points that have been made. I do not have anything against 5sos (apart from some problematic things that they've said, and half of their fandom, who have been attacking me).

Don't even try to argue back with the points I make here.

First point- 5sos make pop music. That is final. Look at attached image.

"Their new album isn't pop!1!!1"
It is, again, look at attached image.

"Some of the songs on their new album are slightly alternative!1!1!2!"
Yes b/c atl wrote them.
Having a few songs that you think classify as alternative doesn't change their genre. Pierce the veil did a few acoustic songs, doesn't make them an acoustic band.

Also someone said that 5sos wasn't pop because pop is a bad genre.
Pop isn't a bad genre. There is nothing wrong with pop music. I enjoy some pop music.
Also if you say pop is a bad genre you're saying the music you listen to is bad- because 5sos is a pop band.
Pop is a vast genre filled with so many talented artists, and it's very hurtful to make an assumption that the ENTIRE genre is bad.

Also someone said that I was hating on 5sos by calling them pop??????
I didn't know it was hateful to state a band's genre. I better watch out- Metallica fans are going to attack me because I called them metal!1!!1!1

Playing your own instruments doesn't make you rock. Jazz bands play their own instruments, they're still jazz. Country bands play their own instruments, they're still country. Pop bands play their own instruments, they're still pop.
If genre was categorised to whether people play instruments, there would only be two genres.

"5sos were inspired by rock bands, so they're rock!!1!1!1"
This argument is also completely invalid. Blink-182 inspired me to make a band, but my band sounds nothing like blink-182, as I play heavy metal. Brendon Urie was inspired by Frank Sinatra, but Panic!'s music sounds nothing like his. And the list goes on. Do you get what I'm saying here?

For starters, I'll include whatever I want in my book, as its MY book, that I put a lot of time and effort into, I'll decide what I choose to put in it.
Yes I included some tv shows or films in this book, because emo people do watch tv and go to the cinema. The same way I included a chapter about piercings or hair dye. Because emos commonly dye their hair and get piercings.
I don't want to include 5sos in this book because 5sos aren't emo in any way. Yes you might say you're emo and like 5sos, there's also people who are emo and like classical music, I'm not going to include a chapter on Beethoven.

I'm sorry I've had to interrupt the book to include this, but petty hate comments aren't stopping, so here- read this. Again, if you're in doubt, look at the attached image. If anyone still wants to argue against my points please reconsider and just leave this be.

I think I have mentioned all the points I need to. The conclusion is: 5sos are pop, and 5sos are not going to be in this book.

If you so desperately need to know what 5sos song you are by your horoscope, I'm sure there's a 5sos zodiac book on this site.
