I pout looking at my phone, "gonna be alone this year... Again" I say putting my phone down. "(Y/N)! Come down here" I hear from downstairs. "Aish!" I hiss, getting up and walking towards the voice. When I get down, my mom and dad aren't there, but there's a note.

"Went to New York for New Years, be back on January 25, Money on the counter.. Happy New Year!"

I crumble the paper in my hand, throwing it away afterwards. "My parents don't even wanna be with me" I mumble, walking back upstairs. Once I walk in my room, I fall on my bed, face first.

"Stupid" I say, voice muffled by the sheets. *Ding*, I check my phone getting a text.

I know you, you may know me, I want you to come outside when it's 11:00 PM. If you don't... I'm barging inside.

I stare at the screen, eyes wide. I check the time. 5:47 PM. I lay down, staring at the ceiling. "Huh.... Life sucks" I say, closing my eyes. Slowly my mind turns blank and I fall asleep.

~ (Insert Favorite Song) ~
"Mmm...".... I slowly open my eyes, outside dark and raining. I sit up, half awake and half asleep... "OMG WHAT TIME IS IT?!" I quickly say, checking the time. 11:32 pm. "Ohh Mai gawd... Please... Don't barge in" I say to myself, walking downstairs with an umbrella. I cautiously open the door, immediately closing it when I get outside.

The wind blows, causing me to slightly shiver. "Aish, I should have brought a jacket" I mumble to myself. "(Y/N)" I hear. I turn to where the voice came from. "Y-You're..." I was speechless, tears threatening to form. "It's me, it's really me" he says, walking forward. I run to him, immediately wrapping my arms around him in a tight hug. "Are you done for good?" I question. "Yep, I was able to convince the General to get my release earlier" he answers. I smile in relief, "Come on, let's get inside, it's raining and cold" he says, pulling me inside.

We lay in my bed, cuddling. "I missed you" he says, pecking me on my forehead. "I love you" I say, looking up at him. I see a big smile on his face, "I love you too" he says. He looks me in the eye and comes closer towards me. Before you know it, we kiss. It's been 5 long years, he was enrolled in the military. The kiss was full of love and passion, after a minute or two we pull away, in need of air. "Happy New New Year (y/n), I love you" He says, pecking me on my lips. I smile, "I love you too" I say, snuggling into his chest. "Good Night" I hear him say before I fall asleep.
