Seventeen ~ Hoshi ~ Fluff

The cold air hits my warm skin, turning my cheeks into a pinkish color. I secure the large white and fluffy scarf around my neck and make my way towards the park. The chilly air freezes my hands soon and I stuff my hands in my pockets, hoping for some type of warmth. A smile grazes over my face as I see family's and couples out on the streets, making the best of their time during the Christmas break. This December, I'm spending it alone. My family has to care for my grandparents and I don't have enough money to travel. Sighing I shake my head, trying to rid of the thoughts.

I finally make it to the park, the dead trees and plants makes the scenery even more beautiful. The path starts where the trees start, and I follow, wanting to rid of some thoughts. I walked on this trail many times, it calms me when I'm feeling down or up. My body shakes of the coldness and suddenly I'm feeling something warm on my cheek. Confused, I turn around. "You seemed cold" he says, I smile, taking the hot pack into my hands and use the heat to warm my cold fingers. "So what are you doing out here?" he asks as we continue walking together. "I should be asking the same for you, Mr. Hosh" I say, chuckling to myself. He smiles, sniffing and looks at me. "Let's go get some hot cocoa?" he asks, tilting his head in a questioning manner. "Sure" I smile, following as Hoshi leads me to a nearby café.

As we enter, the warmness of the small shop sends chills down my body as it hits my cold skin. I stand at the entrance awkwardly, waiting for Hoshi to comeback with the warm drinks. "Here's one for you~" he says in a jokingly polite manner. Chuckling I take the cup from his hand and we make our way out the small café. "So, you doing anything this Christmas?" Hoshi asks, taking a sip from his warm drink. "Mmm, nope" I hum, enjoying the heat radiating from the warm cup onto my cold hands, somewhat warming it. He raises his eyebrows, somewhat surprised. "What about you?" I ask, taking small sips of the warm liquid. "Mmm, just hanging with friends I guess" he says, shrugging. I nod in understandment. Suddenly, he stops and confused I also stop and turn to him.

"Is everything alright?" I ask, taking a step closer to him. He closes his eyes and takes in a deep breath. "I like you (y/n)" he suddenly says, catching me off guard and my breath hitches. "I liked you when you first walked in, when you first talked to me. Your voice was so soothing and calming, it made all my problems fade away. Every time I see you, my heart would skip a beat" he takes my hand and places it on his chest where his heart was, "my heart speeds up when you talk to me. Every time you smile, it makes me happy and I find myself loving that smile more every time. That warmness that you give off... I can't find anyone who can do this to me. No one can make me a mess after just a simple greeting, but you".

My eyes widen at his statements, "Hoshi..." I quietly mutter. "I want to ask you... to give me a chance... give me a chance to show you how much you've affected me and how much I really love you" he finishes. I smile, "Will you give me a chance?" He asks, biting his lip nervously. I nod and find myself being wrapped in Hoshi's warm arms, he pulls away so that our foreheads are resting against each other. He leans in, then stops. "May I... Kiss you?" he asks in a low whisper. I smile and nod, muttering a small "yes". He connects our lips in an innocent, loving kiss.

Christmas came around and I spent the entire day with Hoshi. He would snuggle up to me keeping me warm when we were watching a movie, or try his best to be helpful when I was cooking. He gave me a gift that won't be easily forgotten.

"(Y/n)" he calls from the living room of my apartment, "yes?" I call out, making my way to the said room. "I have your gift" he says, a smile growing on his lips. I smile, walking over to him. "You didn't have to" I say, sitting next to him. He slips a ring on my finger and leans in, connecting our lips in a passionate kiss. "I love you, and I promise to never leave you" he says as we part from the kiss, "even if it's early in the relationship... I promise" he finishes and pulls me into his warm embrace. "I love you too" I say, hugging him closer. Wanting more of his warmth in the slightly cold room. "And I won't leave you either" I finish, resting my head on his chest and closing my eyes, enjoying the moment.
