Chapter 1: Introduction

I have been friends with Issa for a really long time. We have been best friends since I was a child. He always understood me growing up, and supported me when I was sad. When I was starting to go into the 8th grade, my family made sudden plans to move to a different state. Issa and I thought we would never see each other again, but we would keep in contact over the years. At first, we did. We texted each other constantly. Slowly, we started to talk less and less each day, until the thought of him faded away from my memory.

Now that I am 18, I have decided to move back to L.A. I will be surprising Issa, and I am honestly so excited to see him after 4 years! He started a Youtube channel while I was away, and I wonder how much he has changed.

I am not only there for Issa, though. I am moving in with my friend, Leah. She does not know him, well she might. Maybe she watches him on Youtube.

I am already packed, and ready to go to California. Hopefully, everything goes well and he remembers me. I can't wait to see him afterr all these years!
