"I don't care if she's here or not." I grumbled to Percy. "For all I care she can be getting mugged by random gang members and I still wouldn't save her."

SMACK! "Don't you ever say that! Just because she cheated on you doesn't mean you can treat her like that! It's not like you deserved her anyways." Annabeth rants.

She storms off with Percy hot on her trail. I shake my head and turn towards the bag in front of me. I'm the top boxer in state, and I plan on keeping it that way.

The school bell rings the moment I punch a hole in the bag. "Third one this week Grace, might want to watch your anger." Coach says from behind.

I sigh. "Yeah I know, it's just I've had a rough morning." I take the gloves off and put my head in my hands. I try forgetting the conversation that we just had but it won't leave.

"I know, I heard it." Coach sat next to me. "But sometimes anger needs to be reeled in at moments of softer emotions." He pats me on the back and walks away.

I run out of the gym to Annabeth's first class. Coach knows I'm going to be late anyways. "Annabeth! Let me call her." I say through pants.

"Oh now you care about her?" She states angrily. God dammit, I don't have time for this.

"Let me talk to her." I say. She pulls out her phone as it starts to buzz.

I snatched it away before she answered it. "Piper?" I asked. Silence, that's all that was there.

Piper hung up after a minute of not talking. I sighed in defeat, "Heres your phone." I handed it back to her.

"Are you, are you ok?" She asked tentatively. I didn't respond as my eyes filled with tears.

She didn't want to talk to me. I couldn't belive it, I failed. What ever was built of my heart just toppled over into oblivion.

Slowly I backed away with my head down. After five steps I turned and ran. Straight to the gym. The moment I bust through those doors someone shouted "Out of his way!" Everyone cleared a path towards the boxing area.

I ran and the first thing I did was jump and kick the punching bag off the hook and onto the opposite wall. The hook was broken and the bag was torn. Someone entered the arena scared of my capabilities when I'm angry.

I saw people placing bets on how long he'll last. I jumped and landed a kick perfectly into the dudes jaw and he went down with that one shot. The entire gym went quiet. Money fell and so did the voices. I went to a cement area of the wall and started punching it as hard as possible without gloves.

I didn't notice the blood prints I was leaving on the wall until someone stopped me. My knuckles were bruised, cut open, and my hands felt broken. I turned to see who stopped me. Frank was standing there with an expressionless face. The moment he stepped aside I almost fainted.

Right there standing behind him was the one and only Piper McLean. She was looking down. I would've embraced her in a hug if not for 1: my hands hurt like hell and 2: she cheated on me.

She turned to face Annabeth and a crowd of students. Frank was currently inspecting my hands for broken bones and fractures. I wasn't even paying attention to Frank though, I was staring at Piper.

She was yelling at the crowd about standing around. I admired her courage and way to sway people with just her voice.
Soon enough the crowd left and it was just us.

Percy was leaning against the wall looking at the doorway for anybody eavesdropping. Annabeth was talking to Piper, well more like yelling, for not coming to school. Leo was, well being Leo and trying to cheer everyone up. Frank was still inspecting my hands, finalizing that there were broken bones.

"What were you thinking! You broke your hands and you have a tournament this Saturday!" Frank started shouting. I stood straighter and popped my neck.

"I won a tournament with a fractured arm and a bruised up leg. The officals don't care as long as its not in a cast. I wore a sling, and the referees still threw me in the ring. Now back up, before you end up like the knocked out guy in the ring right now."

The second I said that everyone looked, and sure enough he was still there. Passed out like bear in hibernation. Percy and Leo dragged the guy to the nurses and Frank dragged me by the arm to the nurses as well, despite my complaints.
