Chapter 7

The bell rings for us to go home and I stand from my seat. I sigh and grab my bag off the floor. I walk out of the door and head to the doors leading out of school. Carter was staying after school to try out for cheer but I guess I would just walk home. Since she has my damn car keys. I am about halfway down the road when thunder rolls throughout the sky and rain starts pouring down on me. I look up and let out a frustrated sigh. "Really?!" I yell to the sky and another bang of thunder shoots through my ears. I sigh and put my head down, still walking. I hear a car pull up next to me and they roll down their window. "Get in loser we're going shopping!" I hear Andy yell and I giggle. I open her door and sit in the passenger seat. "Where too mah love?" She says in a fake accent and i breathe out a giggle. I give her my address and she drops me off. I see a car behind us and through the window, there is Calum. Did he see me standing in the rain? Let me answer that... Yes. I saw the same car when Andy told me to get in. Asshole. I thank her for the ride and wave by to her. When she drives off, I turn to walk into the house when I slip. I fall backwards letting out that really girly squeal everybody has. I land on my elbow and scream out in pain. I hear a car door open and somebody's running footsteps. "Are you okay?" The guy breathes. "ASH GET BACK OVER HERE!" I hear Calum yell. I open my eyes to see a guy with pretty hazel eyes, damp dirty blonde hair, he was covered in tattoos but only 1 piercing. He was also wearing an outfit similar to all the other guys I've met. "No! She is hurt!" He yells. "I-I'm fine. Go back to Calum" I say and stand slightly. He tries to pull me up causing another pain to shoot through my arm. I whimper and let go of his hand, but he grips my waist before I can fall. "I think you broke your elbow" He mumbles and tries to move it. I scream and jump back from him as the rain stops pouring. "Okay. Go back to Calum" I say getting out of his grip and walking inside. I put down my stuff on the floor and grab my mom's keys. I walk back outside and get in her car. "No no no, you are not driving with a broken elbow." He says sternly. "Since when did you become my Dad?" I ask harshly and start the car. I pull out of the driveway and whimper at the contact with my elbow. I don't think it's broken just sprained. A few minutes later I pull into the hospital and sign into the office. They lead me back to a room and I sit as they take my x-ray. They wrap it and tell me it was just a small sprain. I nod and thank them, walking out. I drive back home and think of how mean I was to that Ashton guy. I wasnt trying to be mean. I just didnt want him to be like Calum. I pull into my driveway and unlock the door. I throw the keys on the counter and see a note from my mom. 'On a trip for 3 weeks. It was an emergency. See you in a while. Money is in your drawer. Love, mom. I nod sadly and walk up to my room while sighing. I close my curtain and strip out of my wet clothes. I put some pajamas on and put my hair up in a messy bun. I wipe all my makeup off my face and lay on my bed, being careful with my elbow. I put my phone on the charger and turn off the light. When my head hit the pillow, i tossed and turned trying to get comfortable. I looked at the time to see it said 6:42 p.m. Its been a long day. I slowly start to drift off to sleep then my vision goes dark as I head into dreamland.
