Sherlock was released from the hospital three days later. Following that night Mycroft drove them to court so that they can get married. Three months after they got married, they adopted a baby boy and named him Hamish, after John's middle name. They soon knew that they would have to have an official wedding. They waited till their one year anniversary till they made it official. That was that a day to remember.
