Selena Marie Gomez was a talented actress and singer. When she was young she knew she wanted to become and actor so she looked for auditions in her home town, Grand Prairie, Texas. Selena landed a small role in a few episodes in Barney and Friends. Selena still didn't give up, she played small roles and parts in Disney Channel shows and movies. In 2007 selena's show Wizards of Waverly Place got picked up. It was the only show on Disney Channel to win a grammy for 'Best Outstanding Kids television program'. Plus it was the longest aired tv show on D.C with 7 years.
