A Guy, A Girl, And Death

Chapter 2

The Ambulance flew Anniston to the hospital. The doctors were trying so hard to save her. She was only 7. Anniston was scared, she wanted her mom and dad, she had no idea what was going on. She was in and out of conscious.

TWO HOURS LATER

After Anniston landed at the hospital, they did an assessment. Her left leg was broken and there was swelling on the brain.

THE NEXT DAY

Her brother finally got to the hospital! She had 1 older brother and a younger sister. Her older brother was 22 and her baby sister was only 2. There were no grandparents, they either passed away or had nothing to do with them. Blake, the brother, got to the hospital as fast as he could.

"I'm looking for Anniston Rahn."

"Yes, she's in room 829."

"Thank you!" And with that, he ran off to his sisters room .

He hated seeing her like that.

"How's she doing doc?"

"Honestly, not to good. She's in a medically induced coma. Her left leg is broken and she has bleeding on the brain. Her likely of living isn't high. I'm not Willy wonka I won't sugarcoat it for ya. With her being so young, it will be a miracle. But I promise you Mr. Rahn, we will try everything we can to make sure Sweet little Anniston comes through."

"Thank ya doc."

THREE WEEKS LATER

"Well Anniston, you truly are a blessing. You're very lucky to be alive. You have a sweet brother to take care of you."

Later they go get McDonald's for supper and watch a movie.

"Bubba?"

"Yes Anniston? "

"Where's mommy, daddy, and sissy? "

Blake was not prepared for this, now he knew the time would come when she asked, but he was hoping she wouldn't ask.

"Well,remember that wreck you got into?"

"Yes. "

"Well, mommy, daddy, and sissy was in there. And they didn't make it out when the car made the big boom. They're in Heaven now Anniston. "

Anniston was upset, but she knew Heaven was a great place and wasn't worried.
