Brianna's POV
As much as I didn't want to get up . I had to . For Tay & Liyah . I went to my closet to find something to wear . I put on my black tight crop top , ripped jeans , & some black flip flop . Even though it was winter I lived in Orlando & it's never cold . I grabbed my purse & went downstairs & surprisingly my mom was home . I really wanted to avoid her ass but she was right next to where I had my keys . "Always going somewhere." She always had something slick to say . "Always working huh ?" I reached for my keys & she stopped me . "Where the hell you going ?" I rolled my eyes . "Oh now you care ? Mom it's kind of too late now ." I yanked my hand away & walked to my car . It was way too late for her to 'care' now . Me & Junior have been doing pretty well without her input .
I drove to Chili's it was about 2:45 now . I lived pretty far so Miranda had to be there .
I walked in and the hostess greeted me I looked around & I seen Miranda at a booth in the corner I told hostess that I was with her & she let me go . Walking towards Miranda pissed me off lowkey . The way the booth was set up her back was towards me . I got there & sat down & starred at her I can't lie she looked good . She had on a black Nike windbreaker , Nike cut offs , & some Air Force Ones . She had no makeup on just mascara & eyeliner & she changed her hairstyle she had poetic justice braids it really suited her . "You look good , Miranda ." She was looking at the menu . I'm pretty sure she didn't wanna talk to me but whatever . She looked at me , "you look beautiful, Bri." I smiled & looked at the menu . It felt like old times . Me , her , Tay , & Rosie use to come here after my games & be here for hours just eating & talking about everything that was going on . I missed it , I can't lie .
"Are you okay , Bri ?" I guess I looked spaced out . She could tell I was thinking about something . "Yeah I'm alright . I know you getting the half rack ribs with a stack of fries . So ion know why you even looking at the menu ." She started laughing hard asf . She use to get that all the time . I did too . She closed the menu . "I know bruh . I was thinking of switching up but we all know the ribs is my favorite ." I chuckled . For a minute I forgot about all the shit that happened between me & her . The fighting . Junior . Liyah . To be honest , I just wanted her as a friend again .
"Miranda , I just wanted to tell you that I wanna be friends again . Even though you fucked me over & did what you did . I still do . Liyah said she didn't want me to do nothing to you & honestly since it happened to her it's honestly not my call . But just know if you fuck up one more time I'm on yo ass , alright ? " I held my hand . & she shock it . "Deal ." I laughed . She forever saying dumb shit .
The waitress came & we ordered our food . I got a text from Tay asking if everything was alright & I told her yeah . Once we got our food . Miranda phone rang . I looked at the screen & it said "Baby" guess it was Junior . She answered . "Hey baby , I'm having lunch with Brianna at Chili's . I'll ride with her to y'all house to see you . Okay ?" Hold the fuck up I ain't agree to that . Yeah we cool now but after this i just wanted to chill . "How did you get here ? Where's your car ?" She put her phone down . "Rosie dropped me off . I was at the mall with her & her girlfriend ." Im so confused . "She has a girlfriend now ?" It lowkey hurt to hear but I'm glad she moved on . "Yeah , they're so cute together . You should call her sometime . When I told her that I was meeting you she seemed mad or something ."
I wonder why she was mad . We agreed that we would stay cool . & everything would be alright . I guess deep down it hurt her . We finished eating & I told Miranda I would pay for the lunch . It wasn't that much anyway . We hopped in my car & headed home . We pulled up & saw Junior car in the driveway . & Ma's car wasn't , Thank God .
We walked in & Junior was on the couch watching Love & Hip Hop . This gay ass nigga . "I know yo ass is not watching no Love & Hip Hop." He got up & hugged Miranda . "Man shut up hoe . That's lowkey a good ass show ." I mean I can't flex it was .
