Sort of a short chapter? So yeah, i'm just updating all I have written in the document since i'm bored at school XD

"Red!" A familiar, high-pitched voice called.

Red groaned, sitting up. Sunlight filtered through the window, glimmering in her eyes. Light poured down the windowsill, across the floor and pooled around her covered legs.

She shook the grogginess from her gaze, peering around the room. A blanket had been placed over her, with gold-sewn corners and edges.

"Something happened to you grandmother!" Heidi exclaimed, zipping around the room at an abnormal speed. Red blinked, not used to this kind of behavior from the creature of the forest. She flung her blanket from over her, and jumped up.

Red ran as fast as she could, bounding down the stairs once again, and coming out to the kitchen. She gasped, her grandma laying on the floor. There was a note.

"The police don't trust me so I've come to you. Now, I've rid the world of a criminal and put her blood to use. The elven child has been freed, a child with the red-stained hood has been helped, and one heck of an annoying fairy has been warned," Red read aloud, dropping the note. Who would write this? Thinking through everyone she knew none of them had any grudge against her grandmother. She blinked and looked at Heidi. "Do you think-" The pixie cut her off with the shake of her head. "I believe it's him. Red you can't trust Aiden. He killed your grandmother"

"I don't care about my Grandmother." Red snapped. "I want to find out what's going on and why i'm involved all of a sudden, and that damn elf." Red cursed and pushed strands of hair from her face. "No matter, we'll sort things out soon enough but I advise for you to stay here until it's safe" Heidi spoke calmly. "What so I can get eaten like Grandma?" She dropped the note and looked at the pixie, "I'm not staying put. We need to find Aiden and stop him from killing anymore people. If he want's me involved, i'll get involved"

She hadn't understood what Aiden meant by, 'Red stained cloak' until she figured out that the silk had blotches of blood on it. To be honest, for a wolf, Aiden was neat and quick with his killing. There were only small traces of blood on the floor and the scene wasn't as morbid as you would think. It was about mid-day when the police appeared. Red wasn't pleased when they insisted on a 'conversation'.

"When did you find her?" The EMU Officer interrogated Red, as she spilled out all the information she knew. A couple other officers of the SCS disappeared inside the house. The officer of the EMU, or Extreme Management Unit, had taken her outside for a 'conversation about today's tragic events'.

"This morning," Red almost felt heartbroken, key word almost,. She didn't even like her, and yet... She felt remorseful about what had happened. Red felt as if it was somehow her fault. If Red hadn't of made it on time, or if Aiden would have killed her. No. She refused to feel this way.

"Was she dead by then?" He looked up into Red's eyes of ivory, examining her facial expression. He silently apologized.

"Pretty sure," Red gulped. Being interrogated wasn't the best idea she had in mind for today's main activity.

"It's okay. We're done with questions for now, let the SCS handle the rest," He blinked, getting up from his post, almost looking relieved he didn't have to look after her anymore. The SCS was short for "Specialized Command Squad." They were just dispatched when there weren't enough officers for a crime. No one knew for sure what they actually did, for they probably did many different things.

Red watched people bustle through the house, and for once, she was a bit ashamed of herself for wearing such rugged clothes in front of government officials. Oh well. She didn't plan the murder, did she?
